This should now be resolved Testing
We have now added the ability to bulk delete messages. Click the avatar section to toggle selection, then click "Delete Selected" at the bottom.
We have also added a settings page, with privacy settings as well as enter button behaviour and the ability to toggle sound for individual / group messages independently.
Hey WiseGinger,
Looking at your Privacy Settings you have chosen to disallow messages from everyone. This obviously doesn't account for the moderator messages not getting through so I will look into that.
spunkymonkey707: We haven't changed anything recently with the way groups are loaded. We load 10 posts per page with more loaded on scroll. I can see there are some very large posts on the linked group with single images being >6MB, however initial load was 24MB which is obviously a lot, but it is a group full of externally linked images.
AngelWorthy: It sounds like there maybe a loading issue. I'm assuming you are seeing older messages disappear as new messages are added only after refreshing the page? There is no on page cut off currently. Your messages have not been deleted if they were sent within the last 60 days or were starred. I will try and recreate the issue, are you on desktop or mobile? And are you using the messages drop down or the messages page?
UPDATE: I can confirm there is an issue with loading older messages, we are working on a fix. These messages still exist they are just not being displayed at the moment.
Hi Kimmi, do you have an example (e.g the user you sent it to and/or the subject?) of a message that you believe to have been a comment? There was nothing done in this migration that should have caused that.
We don't currently have an option for people to delete all their messages at once, but if you are 100% sure you don't want any of them, or wanted to PM me the messages to keep it is something I can do for you.
The username has left messages indicate that, the specified user has left that conversation. It appears this way because all the imported messages are imported as group messages.
The "Delete" vs "Leave Group" is for the same reason as above (Imported messages are group messages), if you sent the first message you are the "owner" of that group message and can therefore delete it, if you didn't send the first message you are not the owner and will have the option to leave it.
NicolasBelvoir: Thanks for linking that story, I have just fixed it.
WYSWIYG preview: In terms of stories there shouldn't really be a need as it will look the same as in the editor, with forum posts the external media look different however these are previewed when added.
Source editor: I would imagine that anyone capable of reading and writing HTML would also know how to use the browser developer tools? Having said that outside of the current white space bug I can't see a need to edit the HTML directly.
We are currently planning to stick with using series to link stories as having multiple ways generates confusion. In terms of comp entries, I would have to check with the powers that be.... but I can't see any reason you couldn't add it to a series after the competition has closed? Using the new series management page you can then re-order the stories any way you would like.
The white space in Nude Beach Lesbians has now been fixed. We have attempting to fix it in as many places as possible, but unfortunately the format of the white space is different depending on which browser the story was written in.
Please report any stories you find with large amounts of white space.
The new editor should go live in the next week or 2 which should prevent this happening to any more stories.
We have just pushed a fixed that prevented drafts being saved for stories that were submitted with either an authors or a moderator note. If this is applicable to your story please can you try again?
With regard tags, were you clicking the "Create 'my_tag_name'" from the drop down menu?
