I went hunting for a pretty rainbow fairy before I saw this thread and here she is.

I married a Canadian but I broke him. I'm now married to a Texan but I forgive him.

Well, I have gotten my cold-loving Canadian to embrace the Southern Nevada heat, so I'm closing in on breaking him as well.
While these are annoying, I had gotten friend request from the new mobile site and I was sure it was spam. I know now it wasn't because when I contacted Lush, they told what they were.

Spoiler Alert!

A good friend of mine had posted this on Facebook. Made me laugh then, makes me laugh now. Plus, Tim Curry never looked better.

Some coloured texts can make reading more difficult for people with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia. Additionally, Serif typefaces have hooks at the ends of the letter strokes which although they may look decorative, can also cause reading problems because they tend to obscure the shapes of letters, making the letters run together. That's why Lush only uses an evenly spaced Sans-serif font.

To support what Liz is saying here, having a font that is easy to read is very important. Readability is critical to comprehension. If a reader is spending too much time decoding the text, the comprehension is lost and thus, the joy of the reading is also lost.

I get the desire to use pretty or creative fonts, but for a story site like Lush, you need fonts that are easy to read and allow the eye to flow. Let's be real, we don't read letters, we read words.
I agree. Even on a regular computer, a minor glitch will wipe out what you're trying to say to the person you're chatting with.
I didn't realize the new mobile site was a separate thing. I was confused when I got a friend request because it looked hinkey. Thank you SJ for addressing my concern.
If you're using a school computer (not the WiFi, but a hard wired school computer), then yes, they can restrict what sites you visit (including porn.) If they want to restrict their WiFi, then so be it. Honestly, they'll never truly ban porn because you can bypass this and access whatever site you want with your own internet access (i.e. your data plan.)

However, college campuses are populated mostly by adults. Let adults be adults. If they want to look at porn, that is their business.

If college campuses want to restrict their WiFi, that is their choice.
