The No. 1 Lesbian Detective Agency: What The Girl With The Pearl Earring Saw

“We reveal more of ourselves in the lies we tell than we do when we try to tell the truth.” — DOROTHY SALISBURY DAVIS

The Princess of Wales paused; her eyes sought out the Netherlands’ Ambassador. Having sighted his supportive smile, she concluded her speech: “The exhibition’s highlight is the two Vermeer paintings I’ll now unveil. The one on your left is a delight, the unexpected companion piece for the more famous Girl with the Pearl Earring. Rediscovered in Delft just over a year ago, this painting not only generated global excitement...

The opaque waters were calm, so still that they reflected the Milky Way back upon itself. Millions and millions of stars conspiring to shape the twinkling Emu that sparkled on the surface of this remote desert billabong. The creator spirit soared overhead, her image rendered small enough to catch my downcast eyes. Through the night air, just heard, came the haunting notes of a far-off digeridoo. Soulful, earthy; the loose...

Starting Over

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently,” Henry Ford

Continuous pulses rippled through the oozing folds of my hungry quim. The Sybian2400’s pleasure waves, on my favourite intermittent setting, had already wracked my body and wrecked my g-spot. Greedily going for more; the dildo hunted and corralled another round of delicious cums. My morning ritual, an hour-long cum-fest, now made extraordinary by the newly released, ‘dildo for the twenty-fifth millennium.’ Lying back ha...

About

An Aussie kiss (you know that joke don't you, :rotflmao:, an Aussie kiss is like a French kiss, only down under) and hug; welcome to my home page.

I'm Annie; writer, wife, girlfriend, nurse and mum to one.  Lets get the work out of the way, I'm a specialist ED nurse (which isn't erectile dysfunction as I was once asked.) More importantly, I like to read and write for fun and relaxation. And I love the outdoors, walking, animals, the beach .. even gardening so I have discovered.

I have published my stories elsewhere online, but I turned up on Lush three years ago as I understood this to be a community of writers. And I have found that and so much more; writers I so admire that is definitely true, but also communities of like minded people and some deep and passionate friendships. I have treasured the chats, the messages, the comments on my stories and yes the exploration, even when I have found myself out of my depth.

Friends have come and, in some cases, sadly gone; some have flickered briefly like a shooting star. But there a handful of special people I have been and so always will remain very close to. While some of those I have been closest to have drifted out of my lush life or chosen to take a back seat, others continue to be wonderful and loving friends who have been with me every step of my Lush journey these last years. And there are new friends who I adore, also wonderful people and in many cases wonderful writers.

If anything Lush has enhanced my passion for the written word. And the writing competitions have, with their deadlines, helped me with my chronic perfectionism. I stand in awe at the quality of writing here, and have adored each and every comment on my stories. That you have helped me improve so much is shown by my Pride story being so well received and placing first in that competition. But each of the eighteen competitions I have entered has been a source of joy, discovering new writers and wonderful stories by the gifted authors that abound here.

I published my 50th work on my three year anniversary, it is, for me, so hard to reduce that to a handful of stories to recommend to you. But if you only read one of my stories it should be my Pride competition winning story, Oxford Street, which will always be the story I am most proud of.

As I wrote in my first profile, I am not comfortable with pics etc. for privacy reasons, there are some risks I won't take.

I love meeting people and would love to chat whenever I bump into you.

Interests
Goodness, kind of eclectic. Traditional in many ways, having bought a house over a year ago I am finding I really like the domestic side of life.

And I love sex and adore erotica obviously or I wouldn't be here. And my writing reflects my imagination, it is all about exploring relationships and sexuality, though I am trying my hand at other categories. My Miss, my Miss story is in my view one of my best and was inspired by me trying my hand at a Watersports story.

On Lush, my friend's vivid imaginations can be breath taking, exciting to explore and have so influenced my writing.

I love the beach, surfing as well as swimming and sun baking. Sport got me through my teens and I still play tennis. Good job but I work to travel and have been to Asia, Europe and the US. South America would be next on the list, though travel will take a back seat in my life for a while I suspect.

Favorite Books
I am big on the cultural icons I grew up with - Harry Potter and Hunger Games, for instance. But I like the older books too, Jane Austin for instance.

You would be right to assume, of course, that I love erotic fiction, plot and character driven tales in particular.

Favorite Authors
J K Rowling
JRR Tolkien
Suzanne Collins
Kazuo Ishiguro
Melina Marchetta
Helen Garner
Miles Franklin
Jane Austen
William Shakespeare

Favorite Movies
I love it when my favourite books come to the big screen. And music as well, such as Bohemian Rhapsody.

Favorite TV Shows
I don't actually watch a lot of TV shows, somehow the TV seems stuck on sport and news programmes!!

Favorite Music
At my most eclectic when it comes to music, love almost everything from ragtime to rap.
