HEY-LO!

I'm not sure if someone else has started a topic for this yet, I certainly couldn't find one since there is no search feature for the forums, so I decided to start one.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some more light on the badges feature of the site? Most are self explanatory to figure out, but some are a little harder to decypher. In particular, I'm not sure what needs ro be done for the autobiographer badge, seeing as how I've filled everything out, but I still haven't gotten it.

I'm hoping that this thread could be used as a go-to guide for the badges system of the site, and if someone has in fact already started a thread like this, or there is a section on the site dedicated to providing a more in-depth explanation of how to get these badges, I'm sorry, and please post a link to it so everyone can find it in case they are curious just like me.

Peace and chicken grease everyone!

Top right there is a Search button and here is the link to search the forum: https://forum.lushstories.com/yaf_search.aspx

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Sorry, couldn't stop the chortles of laughter from this question. Not trying to sound bitchy, just shocked that anyone could seriously believe this to be true. I cum quite often, solo and with others. I haven't faked an orgasm in years- would rather let my lover know that they have not yet brought me to completion, and direct them on how to do it, or simply tell them to observe as I finish myself.

Score! Winner winner chicken dinner.

Lushies,

I haven't been a huge contributor here, but I've had a little success, and today I discovered that Gift of The Geisha is very close to earning the Famous Story badge. Milik is the best collaborator that I've had the pleasure of working with and our little tale is very well developed. So if you'd like to read a fictional tale of a modern geisha that will make you fall in love with her, please give our story a read.

Gift Of The Geisha

In the mood for some dirty swinger stories? My Swinger Confessions series is a group of stories that are based on true events. Of course, the names have been changed to protect the .... uh not so innocent! Here are a few of my favorites, do give them a read and let me know what you think.

The Swinger Confessions: Corrupting Shirley Temple - A Prelude

The Swinger Confessions: Corrupting Shirley Temple - The Epilogue

The Swinger Confessions: Angela's Hunger

The Swinger Confessions: The Anniversary Gift

Of course you're welcome to read anything I've written, but don't miss out on the following Editors' Picks, Recommended Reads, or a personal favorite.

Recommended Read: Confessions of a Virgin Slut
Editors' Pick: All Of Me
Editors' Pick and competition winner: An Unexpected Desire
Personal Favorite and follow up to Made For Sin: Images Of Sin

Thank you so much in advance, and I hope that you enjoy any of my work!

A heartfelt congratulations to the top three! Reggie your work is stunning as always, Liz, you and Sprite mesmerized me. I read most of the entries and the top group did amazing work. Alan would be absolutely over the moon with the entries. Congrats to all!
Cocolicious
Nope. I have other plans.

TPBM has having sex in an airplane on their bucket list.

I was just told this. DM was the first to help when I asked something regarding writing. Heaven has gained a new gifted angel.

RIP Alan

Congratulations! Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Congratulations to all! I'm looking forward to reading your works.

I'm not into having a large dick just to have a large dick. It's about the person and our chemistry, so no, your scenario doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Shout out to BethanyFrasier for the translation.

Y'all fancy, using lotion.

I don't but yeah, I've heard of folks using it when in a pinch.
Cocolicious
This is just... Hilarious. Wow, some people need to step away from the screen and put the lotion down.
Cocolicious
Well done all of you and in particular the TOP 3! Congratulations!

Congratulations Buz, now you can order that butt plug what you've always wanted. Gift cards are great for hiding certain purchases from the spouse!

I'm completely elated that our collaborated stories are now appearing on our profile page! I very pleasantly was shocked to see them this morning! I think it was done perfectly! Awesome job, Gav and great decision by the Admin!

Yay! I loved seeing this as well, and to see our geisha story there made me want to read it again. If you haven't read it, click the title, Gift Of The Geisha.

Well done, Gav!

Good job here, sprite.

Might I add:

Then and than, too and to, there is a difference.
Be careful with breath and breathe.
To make a word plural do not use 's; it's either s, es, or ies. (stories not story's; 's refers to possession)

Read your story out loud to someone. Their ears or yours will likely pick up some issues.

Swain will be my labor day weekend trip reading. Don't elaborate.

Coco's thinking is the same as mine. Poetry and prose are generally regarded as separate "genres", and certainly in the English-speaking world are treated separately. The fact that they are separated on the home page suggests that Lush does too.

Thank you. Perhaps I didn't express my thoughts clearly. Some poets here do deserve more recognition and yes, both Liz and AvBG come to mind.

What do the stats say about 'historical' or 'gay male'? Should all categories get their own badge requirements?

I was not thinking in those terms. For some reason, I and I'd assume most here, look at poetry as something separate from stories, not a category of a story. Gay male, historical, and others are categories of stories. In other words, one cannot write a poetry story but can write a historical story. Heck, it even has its own tab on the home page.

I'm calling for more kudos for our top poets!

At the moment, we have badges to reward writers whose stories have been read 30,000 (Famous) and 100,000 (Legendary) times. That's achievable for the best stories, but not for poems, which almost never get that many reads, however good they are.

So how about a couple of badges for Famous and Legendary Poem? It would give additional recognition and exposure to some of our top poets, like avrgblkgrl.

I'm not sure where you'd set the level, but 3,000 and 10,000 wouldn't be too far off. A quick scan of the stats suggests that about 35 poems have got over 10,000 reads. I'm not sure how many have managed 3,000.

Any thoughts? How do the poets among you feel?

I just looked at a few stats and I agree, poems should require less views to receive notice as they're read at a less frequently in comparison. Interesting.

Possibly delete the people that are not active with this site anymore. Perhaps like delete profiles that haven't been active for 100+ days.

Not the best idea but I certainly wouldn't mind if "friends" that haven't been here over 200 days or so automatically dropped from my friends list.
