I'm a sucker for a good love story, if it has sex in it great, but it doesn't need it. I get invested in characters and their stories. I hate cliffhangers.

As I've gotten older, and hopefully a bit wiser, I've come to realize a few things:

Older men make better lovers. Not necessarily because of our experience in lovemaking but because we recognize the value of patience and taking the time to do things right the first time. Plus, we weren't brought up in the times of instant gratification we see today, we're willing to work hard for the things that are worth working for.

My appreciation for women of a certain size and shape has grown over the years. Women should be full-figured and curvy and should look at least as good walking away from you as they do walking toward you. Round is a shape and a beautiful one at that.

Lastly, too many people confuse their wants with their needs. Just because you want something, crave it, lust for it even, doesn't mean you'll get it. Like the old Rolling Stones song says, you can't always get what you want. If you want something, work for it, work hard. But you might not always get it. Sometimes things just don't happen the way you want them to. But if you try, really try, you usually get what you need.
