80 years ago today, Timely Publications released the first issue of Marvel Comics,

It featured the first appearances of the original Human Torch, the original Angel, and Namor the Sub-Mariner, as well as the first comic book appearance of the original Ka-Zar, and kicked off a company that would become one of the two titans of the industry. And so a legend was born.

What functionality do you require?

MEGA still offer free 50Gb accounts and their desktop and mobile apps are great.
Hi. Yeah, I've tried MEGA. Unfortunately, one big problem with it is you can't create a BBCode for all videos you upload that you wanna embed on your own site. You can only create a BBCode for each individual video, which sucks. Also, I like being able to upload a custom splash image for a video. MEGA forces you to choose a frame from the video itself for your splash image. But the biggest problem is not being able to create a BBCode. My site doesn't allow HTML, ya see. It's a security risk to the software.

It's a file host. Apparently, one of the largest file hosts there is. Thing is, although it offers a ton of really cool features and functionality, it's also loaded with dangerous cryptomining software, annoying popups, and other irritants. For those of you familiar with the site, I'm looking for an alternative that has ALL the same features and functionality of Openload.co, but without any of the extra added bull****. Can anyone recommend any? I've tried Google, and have been looking for about a week, but haven't found one yet.

Really? I guess it was too bad that Mary Queen of Scots or the Favourite didn't have millions to spend on marketing towards 35 year old virgins waiting to jerk off to to the latest Wonder Woman figurines.

I'm sure it was "mind blowing" though.
Wow, you're a cheerful sod, aren't you?

This forum is set for 2 hours ahead of me. Can I fix that?

Who were some of the celebs ya had the hots for when ya were a kid? One of mine was Courteney Cox.

Me, I replied: Greetings, oh ye most laconic weird one. You may be the perfect sort of customer. But don't worry. Keep coming back and no doubt you'll have many chances to dispel that first positive impression you've made. ;)

Anyway, here's your free beer. Everyone gets one on their first visit wwith absolutely no bother made about their personal tastes and preferences. Enjoy.

Major congrats to Frank Lee for the EP given to his 'Monster'. If you haven't read it, do so, especially if you're a writer trying to improve your prose.

Now who wwants to join Weirdo and me in a drink to celebrate Frank Lee's latest EP?

Thanks for the beer.

That was a test, obviously!

And it looks like we agree on the rest.
You say that now.

Umm... Mr Movie IQ? Neither of them were in Walk Hard. John C. Reilly, dude.

A serious answer. I loved the Favorite, but it's too quirky to win and i think the ending works against it. Green Book is two amazing actors giving amazing performances in an amazing movie. Agree with you about Blackkklansman and While i really enjoyed Rhapsody, it doesn't really even deserve the nomination. Rami was brilliant, but yeah, not a contender. Glad i'm not the only one that thought Roma was boring. Vice was kind of weird... love to see BP win, but i think Green Book deserves it more.
It took me 4 1/2 days to get through that movie.

actually, i loathe Adam Sandler. Will Ferrell too. I refuse to see any films they are in. What film do YOU think should win, Mr Movie IQ?
You and I are kindred spirits, good sir.

Cool. I was hoping for best screenplay or best picture (it was my fave movie of the year), but any port in a storm.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse got nominated for Best Animated Feature. It got awarded by the Producers Guild of America, Critics' Choice, the New York Film Critics Circle, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and BAFTA. I'd say it's a lock for the Oscar.

Into the Spiderverse better win something! Did it even get nominated for anything?

I haven't seen many of these movies. A Star is Born is deserving, and Gaga is amazing in it, and I hope she wins. I really enjoyed Emma Stone in The Favorite too.
