Thanks John I didn’t spot the link down the side. What is the significance of somebody not renewing subscription ? Does it mean that they are unable to post new stories ? Or make comments on stories and forums and so on ? Or send PM’s ? Do their existing stories remain displayed on the site ?

I have been looking to see what the cost of the different subscription levels are and also what exactly you get for each of them. But don't seem to be able to find that info anywhere. Can anyone help ?

How can I view a list of members that I am following ? It used to be that I could view it from my Profile – it showed the avatars and names of all the people I was following, together with a link to their profile . But not any more . Any help anyone ?

This happening to me again. I am trying to comment on some photos a friend has sent but am told I don't have permission to do this, and need to upgrade to Gold. I am currently Silver and have always been able to post comments, last time only yesterday. Also I wanted to start a new topic to report this but it wouldn't let me do that either. So I hope you will pick up on this and be able to apply a solution.

Knowing this I guess the only way is to copy them to your PC and archive them there.

It would be helpful if it was made clearer what happens to messages. I lost a whole load because I didn't know they would be deleted after 2 (or 3?) months.. I also lost a lot of saved messages when we went over to the new version of the message facility.

Do messages get deleted after a certain time ? How do you save messages ? I have looked at FAQs which say you have to star them, but this all seems to refer to the previous version of messages. I am anxious not to loose some of mine.

OK, problem with sending PM's is resolved.

I seem to be having a problem actually sending messages as well. I go to the profile of the person I want to write to and open Message. I write my message in the template that is displayed, but this causes the Send button to disappear off the bottom of the screen. I move down the screen using the slider or the Down arrow, but this causes the message to disappear altogether. There is no indication that the message has been sent, and I think it has just been deleted. Any ideas ?

Why am I being asked to upgrade to Gold in order to comment on a story ? I thought silver membership allowed that . It always has done in the past anyway. Yet another problem for me since the upgrade.

Hi John - I have checked back through all my messages but all have been read. The number1 still periodically appears.

I have also checked and have seen that some of the authors I follow have had new stories published recently.

The message you sent me 4 hours ago appears in my inbox, but not the one you sent me 7 hours ago, although it was there before. I have tried reply but it still doesn't work but will try again later.

Hello again John. Yes this message arrived but it doesn't allow me to make a reply from my inbox. The words 'Write a reply' are displayed but are not active so I have to write this to you from the forum post. I have noticed that sometimes the number one ( 1 ) appears alongside the email symbol on the navigation bar but if I go to inbox there is nothing there. I know that various authors who I follow have made new submissions but no message advising me of this appears in the inbox. Sometimes the envelope symbol isn't displayed at all and I have to login in again even though I can access other parts of the site. I hope this extra info helps. I have had no messages arriving in my inbox since september 5th. Even though I am quite certain messages have been sent. For 3 or 4 weeks I was unable to access Lushstories website. That problem has been resolved and I now have had access for the last week, but now have this problem with emails.
