I love to connect with writers & readers, so if you've made it to this page feel free to send a friend request or follow me elsewhere.
I started writing while attending college in the late 90s. Nonfiction, erotica, essays, reviews...most of it on the internet, but a little bit published on literary sites. I've never really had the patience or discipline (or maybe talent) to focus on writing while pursuing my career and trying to make the most of my leisure time. So I mostly do it to meet interesting people, although that doesn't happen as much these days since people interact through social media or dating apps.
Interests
Mostly the same mundane things that appeal to everyone else. I love travel, great sex, good food, writing, reading, role play, light bondage, movies, music, craft beer...
I post audio erotica on Reddit under the name u/dallaswunderland
Favorite Books
I read a lot of different genres but my favorites all tend to be the kind of stories where everything is going alright and it looks like there might a chance at happiness just before things go to shit and the protagonist discovers that life can be cruel. Examples: The Last Picture Show, All The Pretty Horse, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Into Thin Air.
Favorite Authors
Larry McMurtry, Cormac McCarthy, Don Winslow, Tana French,
