At first, I sought a better site for publishing a few stories I had already written. I had tried another site that is fairly famous, but I was not having much luck there getting my stories reviewed and posted. In contrast, the people here have been very friendly and helpful from Day 1
I also started to also enjoy the forums, then the chat rooms, and eventually the private chat that allowed me to enjoy interactions with a few select friends. And, it was overall a lot easier to customize my profile, and post a few albums to it. I think having a gold membership has been worth every penny!

Fist it was for the stories especially as I travel to work on the train gave me a good read , but as time went on and got to chat and made some really cool friends .
Sadly lost a few over the years (have come and gone a few times and changes profiles) but also meet a few really nice new ones ?
