And to think They call the Brits 'whinging poms'... sheesh 🤣

2 competition winning stories, 1 Famous story, a smattering of Editor's Picks, a handful of Recommended Reads and one Clitorides award are scattered amongst my stories.

Man, my THIRD attempt at a story for this is flaming out. Maybe I've lost my touch at writing porn.

Relax. Just take yourself in hand and let it cum!

My draft is still over 1000 words. Less than 100 words to cut, but Jesus. This is rather... taxing.

That a hint? Is someone going to flash the county tax assessor in your story? That could make for an original entry, and you would know how to make it spicy.

As a clever and creative kaiju (with three heads no less) I'm sure you'll come up with something. Hang in there.

GOT it! And, boom, I just hit Publish. I love that moment, hitting the Publish button.

Pfft, I wish.

The way it's looking, revising the sex may be the only way to get this draft within the threshold. Didn't want to do it, but time's running low.

Son of a Bitch 😔.

That’s why I mostly stick foreplay when writing flash smile

I’m in. Less sex than the first go, but more dialogue.

With the weekend approaching, I finally have time to read the other entries. ❤️

Whew! What a contest! I've just finished reading ALL the entries so far! That's nearly 90,000 words and counting, sure to top a hundred grand by the deadline. I've seen amazing originality in some of these stories. Compared to some past Christmastime competitions, I'm reading about (and immensely enjoying) a lot more hugely-hung elves and slutty Mrs. Clauses. While I of course have a handful of favorites, I've found the vast majority of entries worth a Like, and almost all of those worth a comment. The quality of writing on display here is as impressive as Santa's ponderous, peppermint-flavored pecker.

Keep 'em coming - and keep us all cumming! I see a few prolific authors on here yet to submit an entry. Meanwhile, I have a second pecker-polishing Festive Flash idea (quite different from my official entry) that I may yet polish up and submit as a non-competition entry in the Flash category. (EDIT: just did! See “Disrobed” in my signature).

My goal when writing my novel was 7000 words per chapter. Total wordcount was 390,000 or so. Writing ANYTHING under 1000 is difficult. Yet I managed. There was no world building, no lore, no crazy character descriptions. Its a good thing I dont need extra words for jokes, I got some sexy fun in and already got a couple comments. Twas fun!

Clearly I'm not getting to put my feet up over Christmas, lol.

I'll probably nudge the announcement date back a wee bit just to give us a chance to get through the mountain of stories. Good job, people.

It was great fun to take part. Nudge as you see fit. It was just a giggle to do for myself and, I suspect, many others.

I really wanted to enter this one. Had a story started and everything. Planned to finish it last night. But then I slipped and fell on the ice on the steps of my son’s house and spent majority of last night on the couch barely moving. I can’t win lately. Just glad I didn’t break anything. I am looking forward to reading them all.

Eek. Take care out there. Get thyself healed. Stories can wait.

This is very much a thing I appreciate about flash fiction. It forces me to rein in my tendency to worldbuild and delve deep into my characters and just zero in on the story at hand.

So sorry to hear, Kat! I was wondering about your long silence. As my father used to say, "Sometimes you can't win for losing!"

Get well soon. We miss you around here!
