I prefer being outside rather than cooped up in a gym. Depending on the weather, I:

- swim
- jog
- cycle
- take long brisk walks
- sexercise

How do you keep in shape?
Oh, I didn't know you were one of those outdoor sexercising persons. (hehehe)

I also prefer being outdoors, at the moment I'm doing a friends garden and I hope it keeps me in shape.
I'm doing lots of walking at the moment and slowly bringing more running into my exercise routine. I had a stress fracture in my leg a couple of years ago from running and want to avoid getting another one.

Outside is my favourite place to exercise too. Even though it's getting really cold now I still love it. I came back from a long walk yesterday and it took half an hour for my face to defrost.
Exercising outdoors is beneficial couple ways. Hopefully there will be beautiful scenery for you to enjoy and also being exposed to the elements while you workout rather than being inside in an air conditioned environment gives you a better, more beneficial workout if done safely.

Since I've been smoking, drinking and not working out the past 6 years and I'm going to boot camp for the military in a several months my work out is a bit strenuous. It consists of running several miles and doing couple hundred push-ups/sit-ups/lunges 5 days a week. All in all not only am I getting in shape but I'm attracting more ladies and boosting my stamina
I prefer being outside as well, which is why I took up running about 4 years ago. If I'm being good, I will run about 5 1/2 miles a day approximately 5 or 6 days a week. I've been a bit of a slacker lately. I will run outside all year long. If it's too snowy or icy out to run (live in Chicago area), then I will jump rope in my garage.
Lately I've been working out a couple days a week with a few daily exercises mixed in. I also have a physically demanding job, so get a decent workout lugging products around for customers or stock at our store. And when work doesn't interfere I play indoor or outdoor soccer once a week depending on the season.
I usually run everyday, but lately have been having some kidney issues and it´s a little too painful. So I am taking super long walks.

I also scuba dive, but since I am only freelancing at the moment, I only get out a few days a week instead of everyday.
I walk every other day, depending on the weather. I'm going to incorporate swimming and get back into playing tennis soon. I gained about eighty pounds over a period of six years (you wouldn't know it by looking at me) and an injury I sustained is making my knees swell up and I want to get the weight down.

Um, depend on soccer! Right now I am doing 6 weeks of once a day soccer training. Monday/Wednesday sprinting Tuesday/Thursday form and more of a mental workout. Friday is a day of recovery! My normal sprints are nothing less than 60yrd shuffles, but that was the easy day! A few days ago I had to do ten reps of 40yr sprints, five 60, five 80, and five 100. Yesterday we went to the gym to do ab workouts with a weight ball (don't remember the name), holding planks-pushup, air squats, hamstring stretches (on your knees, slowly falling to the floor then using your butt and hamstrings to pull yourself back up), and the most popular.. the -amazing- lunges hold 1...2...
40 of everything on that fun little list. smile
Excuse my sarcasm for I really do love the sport.
Just not the fitness level required for it.
Lol, but without this training I wouldn't have the body I do.
I love outdoors..it is much more entertaining than indoors,,therefore I love to play soccer ( my passion)
I love swimming too,, its a full body exercise plus is relaxing, I also like to do cycling and jogging.
And of course the weight training which indeed i have to start a new one soon.
Exercise is the therapy for the body , its vital and I need it as much everything else.
I used to play basketball, with killer practices 5 days a week, but since I have quit I feel fat, so I have improvised by taking long walks, and now since last week I have been doing situps and leg exercises cause my thighs are small tree trunks-_- I am trying to slim them down a bit, then I will be happy with myself.

I understand. I feel the same way. I had played football in my peak condition. Never had love handles until now and I hate it. I'm not over weight but I don't like having fat.
Hmmm for actual real exercise? Cycling and walking when I walk though I tend to go hill climbing same thing with my cycling I love to ride it hard (insert jokes here) smile for me. Though I do count mowing the lawn chopping wood stuff like that as my workout. And I don't mean riding mowers either. I'm also one I hate being stuck inside I won't do go no where exercise like stationary bikes or treadmills those just bore the hell out of me.

sex is very good exercise, so i try to have as much of it as i can! no, i'm serious! ok, besides that, i used to run, but i have occasional issues with my knee, so now i try to bike as much as i can when the weather is nice, or walk, and i practice tai chi - i'm not big on the gym, but my girl goes 3 times a week, and we eat right, which is a huge part of it - we're both vegetarians, non smoker, only drink occasionally... i think that covers it smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I used to run at lunch but work is too hectic these days and my commute takes 4 hours daily. I bought myself a stationary exercise bike to cycle 5 times a week in the evenings after dinner.I also have a personal trainer on Saturdays to help with my body shape. Occasionally I'll go down to my local pool and swim for an hour. I also walk everywhere which helps.
I used to just get by with dance as my focus, with pilates and a solid cardio regimen as supplements.

I do like the gym... spin classes, the occasional yoga class, and circuit training. Weather permitting, I enjoy running as well, if possible.

This summer, tennis and kickboxing are going to be my focus.

I also watch what I eat, limit carbs and fats for the most part, but I'm not crazy about restrictions.
I really enjoy bicycling!!! Also, the gym, spin class and sometimes jogging.

i read that as CIRCUS training! LOL - actually, i want to take classes in that smile oh, and about the not crazy about 'restrictions'? not from what i've heard *giggles* sorry, i SO couldn't resist!

I am really into fitness. I lift weights and body build and I am an avid runner. I do 200 sit-ups and 200 stomach crunches before I get in the shower each morning.

I have competed in triathlons and still do occasionally and regularly run in 5K, 10K and half-marathon races. And I swim a lot.

I have always loved sports and played varsity football and baseball in high school. I still play softball a lot and last year played on an amateur adult tackle football team.

I also love to play golf though I don't think that helps a lot with fitness.
I recently discovered that the secret to having a gym membership is actually going. smile I travel a lot and so keep odd hours at times but most hotels have treadmills, ellipticals, etc. I got a TRX as a gift recently and have found that be a good workout when travelling. The big upside is that I get to still eat food, something I enjoy more than I should (it's my sensual nature coming through).

All that said, I'm going to try Sprite's diet of lots and lots of sex (with or without the ginger) to see if that helps keep the weight down.
Considering I'm allergic to anything that casts a shadow, food and I have a love/hate relationship. I normally spend six hours a week in the dance studio. One Latin class and a private smooth (ballroom) session with my partner and instructor keeps me pretty tone. It's a great workout.

Lol...they didn't tell you that when you signed the membership papers eh? And the secret to actually going is to find a gym that has a lot of hot looking woman in tight workout clothes sweating it up on treadmills...

Actually, I used to go to a gym because there was one at the clubhouse in the condo I was living at...though I haven't lived there since Sept. 2009, and my Trek 400 bicycle is in storage at the moment...
So...I really don't do much in the way of exercise except I walk a lot...

Swimming is brilliant if parts of your body are weaker as the water bears all the weight
I mainly cycle and lots of walking, and I also like an odd game of tennis/badminton!
