Left handed. I broke my right arm playing tackle football in the park when I was 14. I went left handed out of necessity and it stuck. I still throw right-handed, bowl right-handed. But I write left-handed.

I'm naturally right handed but my right arm now doesn't function well because of surgery to remove a cancer wrapped around the nerves to my right arm, so I do a lot of things with my left hand. I type entirely left handed and can now do 40 words a minute with few mistakes (I'm really proud of this!) but deliberately didn't teach myself to write with my left hand because on the 'use it or lose it' front I need to keep as much function as possible in my right hand for the future.

I am right handed, I can do very few things with my left. The most awkward thing I've experienced was facilitating a birth with my left as dominant and it was so unnatural to me.

My eyes are messed up too. They are cross-dominant. My left eye is dominant.

I can't sight a rifle, gun, or bow with my right eye, even though it's the one next to the barrel or string. I close my right and aim with my left eye open. I'm also not comfortable mounting the firearm on my left shoulder, or holding the bow with my right hand.

I don't hunt, but with this convoluted technique, I can still hit the bulls eye on the target.



Weird Freaking Fact:

When I write (script) or print left handed, it is easier, faster, and a more natural feeling for me to write backwards - moving from right to left on the page AND writing the letters backwards.
