Is this possible?
I do not want to break any site protocols and can't find anything on this specifically. I even asked Mobius and he said he wasn't sure, unless I deleted the whole story and resubmitted an edited version of it. But then I would lose some lovely comments and I want to keep them.
I have noted some minor, but unfortunately placed typos in more than one of my published stories and one or two glaring errors of continuity. I would like to fix these flaws because, well because I'm an anally retentive cow when it comes to the written word, really.
May I? Please?

Yeah...you can edit already approved stories...
Just try not to make it a habit, you'll annoy the mods...and I don't even want to tell you where that could lead...
@Dirty Martini - HEY! Watch it bucko! Yer steppin' on some mighty sensitive toes here! LOL (and all ecept mine and Stephs, might need some atttention, like licking and sucking and..... are you up for it? )

I look at typo's as a writers mark in time.
I use them to mark my progress. With or even better, with out the help of a quality editor.
If I ever get my typo's down to the number zero, it would be my mark in history..
Good luck Danand
Go ahead and edit it, Danand, no one will be upset about it. The only thing you need to know is that when you edit a story, it won't be available for public viewing until it is re-approved, and right now there are quite a few stories already awaiting verification.
Some times what appear to be typos and bad grammar are literary devices. You should ask first.
http:// Someone was kind enough to point out a silly error in my most recent story, which I wanted to change. I let the moderators know what I was doing (with an apology) and they were kind enough to put it back online quite quickly.
I always re-read mine before submitting them, but sometimes errors slip through. Another one that someone else spotted was when I had someone taking their bra off, when they had already done it once already!
My excuse was that I was getting carried away by the story...
22 February 2024 - How about a quick plug for one of my filthiest recent stories? It's all in the title - Naked Pool Party Swingers | Lush Stories Please read, comment and maybe give it a ❤️ - or even a⭐ if you really enjoy it! Thank you! Annie xxx
When a mod receives a edited story approval are they aware what has been changed or must they re-verify the complete story from scratch?
Or, actually i misunderstood the original question.
http:// I have occasionally taken the liberty of making edits or corrections in stories, but I always make a point of telling the author what I did.

Yes you can re-edit your story. I corrected some misspellings that slipped by me on one story. My story was very soon re-posted and still had attached all of the comments and votes it had before.
