About
I am FtLMale, Doppelgänger of Michael. Well, I prefer to think of myself as a Doppelgänger, a paranormal double, but doctors insist I am his parasitic twin. Either way, we co-exist. Michael thinks I exist only in his imagination, and that he exists only in my imagination, but my writing is proof of my existence. At least one of us is real.
Michael savors beauty, and with a simple smile or loving look is ready to preserve her features on canvas, mounted in an exquisite frame. My feelings go somewhat deeper, I relish the flesh, and prefer to preserve my loves on a gilded phallic pedestal.
Michael is a skilled technician, bringing machinery back to life to produce water, whereas I view water as life, I make water, thus I make life, thus I am a god... a lesser god.
Michael is an easygoing man and enjoys friendly conversation, but having a tender heart shields his emotions. I exist only in the moment, finding that seeking pleasure has its own reward, and conquest its own price.
We both travel frequently, Michael enjoys seeing distant ports, towns and beaches. He will carry his camera and capture endless scenes equal to the postcards. I prefer to savor the sensory sensations of Alfredo Fettuccine con Gamberi while in Italy, Cantonese Peking Duck while in China, hot Borscht with sour cream and crushed garlic while in Russia and Queso Flameado with homemade tortillas while in San Miguel de Allende. Wash it down with a local liquor and I am in bliss.
Then I am bound for the markets, festivals, mountains and beaches to capture the essence of the land as the natives enjoy it, bargaining with the storekeeper for a new found treasure, dancing with the local ladies in costume, scaling the mountain top for the view of the heavens and running naked in the surf. Michael and I may be one, but we are each our own, and although he does carry the baggage, I think I write better.
