Unanchored, a slave to gravity,
I crash to the bottom of the icy black abyss.

A pile of broken parts,
dampened by my unyielding tears.

I struggle through the agony to put the pieces back together,
to no avail.

I am too weak to fight,
and love has left this barren place.

Lips need a tender kiss
to connect two soulmates.

Eyes need light to navigate home.

A body needs a touch to feel whole again.

And a heart needs love to beat again.

So, my heart stops.

My body dies.

And my soul is but a whisper,
lost in the darkness.

The end comes wordlessly.
