The man, you mean God? God is in Denver. Must be why the broncos won your division.

Hey, since we're on the subject, do you guys ever just whip out your cocks and have light saber fights with them? rubbing them against each other and all that, cause i'm thinking that might be kind of hot. smile

"My mother always taught me that if the only thing you have to say is 'Fuck David Samson' then you shouldn't say anything at all. So I'm not going to say anything at all."

And someone quoted Steven Wright earlier... I love his stuff:

"If you shoot at mimes, should you use a silencer?"

"There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot."

"When I woke up this morning my girlfriend asked me, 'Did you sleep good?' I said 'No, I made a few mistakes.'"

"If dracula can't see his reflection in the mirror, how come his hair is always so neatly combed?"

"Black holes are where God divided by zero."

i like small tools. they fit in my purse easily and i'm always finding in need a screwdriver or a needle nose pliers or a wrench for this or that. even a tiny hammer comes in handy at times.

You said you wouldn't tell anyone about my "tiny hammer" nickname...

*laughs* ok, i'll try... Akira and I are talking about being a kitty. it's kind of a mind set, not unlike a sub (or a Domme, but most kitties tend to be subs, in my limited experience). i guess you could call it roleplay, where a girl (or a guy!) takes on the role of kitty, but i think it goes a little deeper where i slip into a kitty mindset - not a plug, but check out my first kitty girl story for a little bit of an idea of what it's like for me. that said, i'll do my best.

i have ears and a collar (and a few more things, but i'll leave them out of this for now.) when i put them on, when i'm feeling kittenish, which is not always, but there are time when i just DO, i transform a little. not magic (i wish!) but i slip into a sort of kitty like state. playful, shy, skittish, affectionate, most of my communication is in purrs or mews or non verbal, i become, in essence, a human-kitty. i guess you could classify it as a fetish, somewhat like the 'furries'? like i said, tho, for some, it goes beyond role play, and you tend to react as your kitten self - my wife would probably tell you that it's the one time i get jealous and a little possessive - i get growly if she's paying too much attention to some one else. at home i tend to curl up at her feet or with my head on her lap and she indulges me by scratching behind my ears. i have a bowl for water and one for food, that i prefer eating and drinking out of. as i said, this is not a full time thing for me, but there are times when it's comforting to slip into it - often when i'm feeling very energetic and playful or, conversely, when i'm stressed out...

sometimes, it's sort of an in between for me as well... i get super affectionate and tend to be very quiet, sort of a half kitty/half human girl. this is, btw, something fairly new to me, perhaps 2.5 years now since i discovered this side of me and i am still exploring it. it's scary, too, coming out of the kitty closet - i am aware that it's 'not normal' at least in some peoples eyes, that they don't get it, that it's weird, but i have met enough people now who understand in a variety of ways that make me feel a little comfortable with sharing it.

hope that helps? smile

In a sense, it's kinda like some cross-dressers who do it to connect with their "other side" (for a guy, it's connecting with his feminine side). For you, it's perhaps a way to transcend your human condition and exhibit a grace and playfulness that you admire in kitties. Am I close?

I guess you got the idea. So often, and I assume it's true of anybody, we tend to feel disconnected, detached. But when you do, you connect to something else, something you perhaps value even more. It must be cathartic.

If I'm plain wrong, don't make fun of me (too much). silly
I've had people ask me if I'm really a nebula. I had to tell them it was a little more figurative. I'm not a nebula, I am nebulous.

For the record, i am NOT one of the NO MEN girls. I have made a lot of good friends here from pretty much every 'catagory' straights, gays, bis, cross-dressers, men, women, kitties... smile really, take risks, if you see someone who looks interesting, send them a note (btw, i owe you a response - my messages are a bit backed up from being gone from the site for a week, but i will get to it, promise!) and most people will write back, say hi, behave in a reasonable manner. it's a friendly site, and yeah, a lot of guys are here trolling, but a lot of guys here are really cool interesting fun nice people too, and personally, i'd hate to miss out on all the Stephanies, Felixes, Easy Riders, Loud Bikers, Jebrus, Red Dragons, FeliniusKingus's, GAVS, Rudys, Jaymals, ETC ETC! who make my Lush experience so wonderful. smile

After 28 years, I finally feel special! Thanks Rach!

I guess I'm more of a "NO MEN" type of guy than most girls here. Girls simply have way too much people to reply to. When a dude wants to talk to me, I do have the time to reply. But unless he's truly fascinating, or has many hot girl friends, I will simply ignore. Not that it ever happened. But if it were to happen, please note that I will reply to you only if you're truly fascinating or have many hot girl friends. I'm that shallow.
Ed Norton in Fight Club... yep... mirrors my every day life, since I frequently punch myself in the face, and my alter-ego gets more sex than I do.

Oh! i read this a few years ago! it was a wonderful read, and i love how it left what really happened somewhat up to the reader! excellent choice. smile

I loved Life of Pi. The last chapter was epic.

My favorite book of all time is Albert Camus' La Chute (The Fall). Read it 26 times so far
I've been in a somewhat similar situation, only to find myself ultimately rejected. Good for you! I don't know you, but you seem like the kind of guy to deserve it. Also, it means us good guys still have a chance in this fucked up world.
Has a guy ever tried the line: "Wow, what a coincidence! I have your name tattooed on my dick. Wanna see?" ?

If not, dibs!

you are nothing, if not sensitive to our needs, LM *dreamy sigh*

btw, this is actually better then the one i sometimes get: "I M bored and horny. U wanna chat?"

You said you liked that.

And, regarding the original post... I know it wasn't sent to me, and I'm not even gay, but it made me horny.

Hey sprite, I'm bored too, wanna chat?
I don't know how it happened, because I'm not a photographer, but I always loved that picture.

Having dated several virgins over the years, I can honestly say it was never was what attracted me. But, no matter why they are a virgin, I believe they should be respected for it.

Oh, this is funny. They deserve respect for being virgins? Really?
Personally, I think forming a judgement of someone's personality and/or (dis)respecting them based on their virginity (or lack thereof) is pretty vulgar and base.
But that's just my two cents.

I think they'd deserve respect if they remained virgins out of principles. If they are because of self-confidence issues, then no. It's not respect they need. At least not from others. They have to respect themselves and learn to love themselves more. But someone standing on principles, whatever they are, is deserving of respect. Unless the principles are immoral, that is.
I'm probably stupid enough to take a vegetarian to a steakhouse...

But seriously, I just love steak!

Back-up plan, italian. Pizza is always a winner, for me.
You're too picky only if you die alone. 2 years is nothing. It took me about 10 years of pickiness to finally find what I had almost given up hope on. Being selective is worth it, I believe.
When friends update their blogs, for me, it shows a string of characters like "5QIAAB+LCAAAAAAABADsvQdgHEmWJSYvbcp7f0r1StfgdKEIgGATJNiQQBDswYjN5pLsHWlHIy" instead of the actual message. Both on my wall and theirs, when I look it up, while on their end, it shows normally. It's either a bug or censorship. ;)

My brother is married to a woman who has the same name... as he does...

Oh yeah, now that takes the cake...and I don't even want to know what they named their kids...

My mother's name is Eleanor, and I haven't ran into a whole lot of Eleanors in the last thirty years or so...but, it would be real strange actually...my mother would probably like it though...

Get this: my brother and his wife got twins!

RAIDERS! JUST WIN, BABY!

So proud of my team today. Maybe now that he croaked, the curse of Al Davis will be lifted!

Also it was brought to my attention today that our head coach looks like Barry Bonds. That makes it even more fun.

Is it bad that we actually breathed a sigh of relief when we heard the news? it's going to be strange, though, without him. Did you know that he was the first NFL owner to hire a latino couch as well as a black coach? no matter what, the man was an institution unto himself. smile

I was personally more affected by the death of Al Davis than I was by Steve Job's. I never liked Al Davis, thought he was a joke, as a talent evaluator. The fact is, he was simply way past his time, let alone his prime. But no matter what, he was a big piece of the NFL.

And, by the way... GO NINERS!
I was a member of a site that no longer exists, where each member's vote was weighted according to that member's involvement in the site. You'd get points for logging on, but a lot more for voting, then commenting, and also having stories published. So, in the end, it was the most active members whose votes weighed more in a story's (or poem's) score. A veteran member's vote could be 10 times the vote of a new member (and the "weight" was dynamic, as the member gained points for participating in the community's life). I think it was a good way to have a scores that reflected the quality of the piece and also prevent score-bombing. But if I recall correctly, it was a rather complex algorithm that the site's creator/web designer/programmer/supreme being took years refining. And of course, that site didn't have nearly the same volume of members and stories as lush has. I just miss that site...
Isn't it possible to vote 3 or lower, comment (since it's obligatory), and only afterwards delete the comment? Or those deleting the comment also delete the vote? I just checked, and no, it doesn't delete the vote. Some arrogant prick gave me a one, along with an idiotic comment, and later deleted his comment (after we discussed the matter in private), and the 1 still shows in the votes for the story. So that may be how stories get 3s without the comments. Along with what Nicola said, of course.

I don't like the obligatory comment thing, and I'm glad it will be removed. People are simply too sensitive. A 3 isn't a bad score. It means "average". Let's be realists and agree that a story can be average. If I got a 1, I'd understand there are things to work on, and a lot of things at that, on that story. I'd rather see stories averaging in the 2-3 range, so that in contrast, the real masterpieces on this site stand out even more.

I deserve a lot more 2s and 3s than I've received. I guess that why I only got a combined 27 votes so far. ;)
Are you sure the stories were removed by the site, and not by the user?

I searched on my stories, and it turns out no one would even think of stealing from me...
