Usually, when I personally see a story with "...chapter xxx" I scurry on by. I don't have time to read 12 stories to catch up. I much prefer one and done. The continuing sagas may be good, but after awhile they drag on and become unbelievable. A recent example, was an " " category story with a family that went to a reunion at a camp of some sort. Actually I would say medium. Too long can get boring, too short, whimsical . Question for all the writers . What is the deal with showers ?
