That would be what's known as a derivative work.

Derivative works aren't allowed as they infringe copyright. Don't let that stop you writing it though; EL James began by writing a story based on the characters from Twilight and look what happened when she changed the names.

I see that more as fan fiction, he's using something that's already made in a completly new way. A derrivative work is, for example, when you make a movie after a book, in the last case the changes are minor. To me, a derrivative work is like the fruit of a already given work.

Fan fiction use what was already set up and tries to reach another ending, it deviates in a major way from the initial set up

Both fan fiction and derrivative works can deviate from the plot, but, in the case of derrivative work, the deviation, usually, is minor as it tends to be a 'carbon copy' of a original, with minor adjustments.

@scorpio As Lush doesn't allow that, you can't post/publish them here. But, if your story fits the criteria 'fair use' then.. You can try to search for another place. Usually, problems arive when you do that for money.

Edit: looks like wikipedia catagolize fan fiction as derrivative work.

Quote from wkipedia about fan fiction:

Fanfiction is not infringing if it constitutes fair use of the underlying copyrighted work. In determining whether a particular use constitutes fair use, courts consider the following four factors:

"the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
the nature of the copyrighted work;
the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work."[9]
Fair use is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

I kinda enjoy the ones that do argue. Highly entertaining.

Second that.

I don't use the forums regulary as I use them only when I browse for stories with adult content. Usually, I'm reading web novels, light novels and original fictions and that's why I'm more active on forums/websites with that type of content. On Lush forums, Usually, I like to read topics where debates are a common thing but, I tend to rarely participate in them if I feel that I can't add something; I dislke to open topics of discussion and only post in those already opened.

When i chat to someone I always do a reverse image search on their images.
Surprised at how many images are ripped of from porn sites. You can normally tell if an image is real or a porn pic.
Personally i do not know any real person whos images are on pron sites.
Can something be done to get round this.

For those that use a device like a tablet/mobile a last+next buton beside the page number on topics - my fingers often press wrong. +a report button present, somewhere, on the message -it will be easier for the moderators and users to use (for skipping the misusage, the condition of explaining/saying the nature of the report -i.e. double post/language).

Opposed? .. I dont understand this .. she decides *you* are the first .. just how much does that/should mean to you.

It was previous mentioned: moral and religious reasons. Won't dwelve into the subject but, for some, it's very similar to the slut concept and/or the tainted notion. Others think that they 'conquered' something... And so on.

If I love her, I won't care if she/he's a virgin. If I don't love her, I won't 'embark' on that journey. My mentality doesn't allow me that.

I LIKE that...

(Today is National Poetry Day, in IRELAND!) I LOVE living in a place that has a National Poetry Day.

I've recently read "BEDSIT DISCO QUEEN - 'How I Grew Up And Tried To Be A Popstar'" by TRACEY THORN of Everything But The Girl fame and her discourses on writing are really illuminating... She says something I thought INCEREDIBLY profound but that I had NEVER CONSIDERED.

Basically, she states that the MORE personal you make the piece, (in terms of specific detail/emotion/etc.) the more widely it connects with readers/listeners.

Idiot Me would have thought that surely the opposite is true, but obviously she's quite right. (Ms Thorn took time out from her music career to do an MA Thesis on the work of Samuel Beckett!)

I'd recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Lit Crit in any form.

Here is one of TRACEY THORN'S songs from a later solo career. (She's obviously a fantastic lyric writer/melodocist/vocalist but SEE HOW the WORDS follow one another...) :

(Take the BEAUTIFUL MUSIC away and YOU STILL HAVE A BEAUTIFUL POEM!!!)

"The afternoon handovers by the swings..." (That's a MOVIE SCENE RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!) In SIX WORDS, selected BTW with the SKILL OF A SURGEON...

THAT'S POETRY!

xx Steve

Where, I think that someone mentioned that, when he/she writes a poem she/he recalls/recollect/remembers that certain emotion/sentiment. But, to me, it's the opposite. I've tried to write poems but, most of them are and will remain unfinished. Why? Because I write them on the spur of the moment and, pretty often, I can't (re)experience the same fact, the same emotion. After the play you have plenty of time to reconsider things and, sometimes, you're influenced by other emotions and other memories. For example, you'll hear, in real life " I didn't want that, I didn't mean that" and so on. Why? Because you need to take decisions at that moment, at that place.

But, emotions come and go and, when you spend some time analyzing them, you realize that they were corrupted. A good example is the meaning of innocence. In my opinion, you can say that someone is innocent even when he/she knows the meaning of sex. Why? Because there are some things that you must experience in the first place to know what they are. How can you describe a sex scene, with plenty of words and descriptions if you don't know what emotions, feelings or perceptions are at play? At least, you must know how you feel.

You can't imagine everything. I think that Einstein saied that Imagination is more important than knowlegde. I dislike that quote. Why? Because it's cryptic and hard to deschipher. You can't imagine something that you don't know, and imagination derives from knowledge. There's no god that will show you the way, at most, you're englightned, you can 'receive' that spark but, you won't receive a whole book in your head, finished and perfectly good.

Imagination, to me, means a reproduction of an image, a ilustration.

Imagination is more important than knowledge only when you posses the basic knowledge and integrate that knowledge - when you can use that freely, withouth effort. But, even imagination can be educated.

Because you've recommended someone, I'll do the same. There are few poets that caught my attention but, one of them, is Emilie Autumn. From what I know, she's a singer that writes her own music. I really like her melodies: Gaslight, I want my innocence back (it's my favorite), Mary me ... and others.

When I read, I enjoy the trip and rarely I reflect on what I've had read. I like to catch images and a good writer, to me, is able to do that. To express him/herself and visualize everything: action, consequences, interactions. He/she can make you enjoy the trip, immerse yourself and forget about everything and anything else, you'll read that piece of work like a ravenous wolf and..

When I use my tablet and use the 'watch this topic' option when I press the the number of the next page I'm receiving a 404 error and so I must retrack my steps: search again for that topic/page and find where I was. Is that normal?

Edit: the same thing happens on my computer. I can't attach files, I can't prove it. So, it's up to the Lush Stories to verify it.

First of all, I must mention that I'll give my opinion. You can use it only as a guide for a further understanding.

Anxiety and depression is not an end of world, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixed_anxiety-depressive_disorder , it can have various causes and it's treatable. You need a bit of more attention, effort and time to solve that, have courage!

What you've did is not only a test for her, but also a test for you. It looks like you don't trust her, at the moment when you've posted. Maybe you've never trusted her or maybe you've began to have doubts. What's more important for you is to know if you trully love her - if you'll go to the end of world for her, throught fire and ... Whatever else go in your way or if it's just something that was 'influenced' by external factors (well 'wished' 'friends', her mother and so on). If you've began to doubt her loyality, first of all, calm yourself, organize your toughts and have a thruthfull conversation with her. Put on paper your main 'problems'/fears and have a calm discussion with her, tell her what you feel, why do you feel that and that you're wishing for her true feelings. Give her the benefit of doubt, a chance to explain herself and don't torture you more by giving free reign to your doubts.

If you feel that you can't manage that conversation, invite or go to a specialist/third party that have experience with that type of situations and is impartial, delicate and know what he/she does/manage (job).

You decide what limits your relationship have. A relationship is like a line, it has two ends: you and her. You don't have to compromise with her, be even more sincere and truthfull with you. You need to know, fully, what notion of love do you use, what do you understand by love and how far will you go for her love and, more importantly, for your love. Pay attention to the fact that, you can't force your love on her. If she doesn't share your love then, you've got nothing more to do than to break up. Beside that, ask yourself if you wish to continue the relationship with her and what its basis is. By saying: 'i love her', you've expressed your love, but, you didn't define your love. Maybe she doesn't know how big your love is. Love isn't a mirror, it's a perpetual change of your beliefs, a further understanding of your feelings and toughtssmile. You define love, you learn what love means to you.

Some people are like bees, they go from flower to flower and you can't stop them. Like it was saied, sometimes you need common rules. But you can't reduce her to a thing and deny her any and every action.

A breach of trust is hard to mend and only time can show if you can cope with it - once burned, twice shy. You decide if you'll give another chance, if you and her deserve another chance. But know this, there can be suffering - you can suffer whatever decision you make, that's what life's about and it will pass, you'll learn how to cope with it. It's not an end of the world if she... made a mistake, you can 'conquer' her back, there are so many possibilities, be a bit more positive and don't give up so fast. There are worse things that can happen.

Read this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love , see how many notions are for love? Find yours:) and you'll see the light.

Your love is yours, not mine, nor of anyone else. You 'own' that love.

I identify myself with Matthew Ko from the asian serial: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Heart_White_Soul. I really like it's personality but, I'm refraining myself from acting like him and don't dwelve too much in pshychological stuff, my personality is more like water... reflecting but not retaining. But, my sister compares me with the movie character Iryuu from the serial: Team medical dragon.

Righ. But, with the exception of complex things (i.e. writing) I can use my left hand to jerk, eat, fish and so on.
