I don't drink coffee or tea. I know, I must be one of a very few elite. I have never even set foot in a Starbucks or any other coffee selling establishment. I am not counting here. The stuff you peddle as coffee, I am not sure really is coffee.

Have a good day everyone.

Cheers!

I'll have Gillianleeeza's share of the coffee.

If the spoon stands up, it may be strong enough. If the spoon dissolves, however...
Checking in over lunch while temporarily free of my corporate whore duties. Set me up with a lemonade please.

Sorry to hear that we are all not sleeping well. I too, am struggling with sleeping.

I am not sure I am ready for a pure filth contest...
I was 19, almost 20. I lost my virginity to a my girlfriend in her room in her mother's basement. I went back to college and she married another guy.
Pointy toed Italian shoes, black tight Levi's, and a merino wool sweater. Pretty much my daily work wear if dressing down.
Congrats to Adagio, Milik, Oceanrunner and BrownCoffee! I despair of ever getting a story posted here. I am told by reliable sources that I have to submit it first, but I regard that as fake news ;)

Corporate prostitution is done for one more day here. Not sunny at the beach in this part of the Southland. June gloom is fully upon us but at least traffic is getting worse. My commute is now an hour each way. Just lovely when you have an early morning call with Europe.

In any event, I would love a beer or maybe something stronger.
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening all.

Being Monday, I turn back to my responsibilities as a corporate whore. I'd love a coffee please.

Sgt. Peppers by the pre-fab four, eh? I can see some summer of love possibilities there. Let me mull that over as I contemplate which part of my rubber soul I surrender at work today. I should just let it be I know, but someone would put a revolver to my head. Yesterday and today I am consering walking down abbey road dressed in white. Okay enough with the bad Beatles references...
I'd love some whiskey in my coffee. I'll look for a throne and tiara in the castle.
Greetings all. Just returned from the pit if despair and now it is time to storm the castle. Could I get a cup of coffee please?
Happy Friday all!

A beer or something stronger as the work week is over for me.

Great to see some faces returning to Rumple's fine establishment. I, like Hannah, am having trouble making a couple stories graphically sexual. Others have given me some things to read, but I suspect my skills just don't work here as I would like. I have a great idea for a stry for the blue site that Zi hope to get a draft done tomorrow.
I am in desparate need of coffee and a couple doughnut holes.

They worked on the electricity supply to the house last night. Do you know how hard it is to read by candlelight? Was finally falling asleep when the power came back on and everything electrical cycled and started up. Took me forever to get asleep.
My dog kept me alive with my cancer. I couldn't have done it without him.

Castle - Good luck with the chickens
Sprite - Great to see you. Love the cats.
Hi guys!

Good to see you all. I'll have a beer before I cook dinner.

Tonya - feel better!
Curvy - Nice to see you again
Hannah - Love the new avatar
Buz - Good to see you. I'll check out the story
Verbal - sorry about the writer's block (I usually am more productive if I am in a depressed mood or in extremis, therefore I should be writing furiously) Best of luck locating the muse.
Seeker - I am waiting for the next installment
Rumple - I like the bar description. Run down bars are part of my expertise...

I'll nurse my beer over in the corner
Coffee please fine sir.

RL is getting in the way right now. I may not be around much but will try to drop in while I can.

Ever heard of Holly Cole? Canadian jazz-pop singer who did a great album of Tom Waits' covers a couple decades ago. Has done some other good work, too, but has been rather quiet in recent years.

I must admit I didn't know Waits very well until Rod Stewart's cover of Downtown Train came out. Liked it until I heard the original, at which point I started listening to Waits more regularly. Tom's voice is unique but in a good way, much like that of the late Leonard Cohen. And his songwriting is right up there with the likes of Dylan and Cohen IMHO.

I think discussing Tom Waits probably means it's a whiskey day, Rump. Rye on the rocks, me thinks.

I sm a Cohen fan too. He continually reworked songs. Never satisfied.
Coffee please.

I am a big Waits fan. Jersey Girl and Downtown Train are two pieces most people know from cover versions. If Tom ever tours again, I will go anywhere to see him.
Wash and shave my face in the shower. If i am being good, I'll use a moisturizer (Neutragena). If I want to smell nice for girl, I have a cologne (Köln?).
Drinks are on me tonight. I'd like a brown ale please.

Rump, My best condolences on your friends. I was just too young to be drafted. A boy that babysat me when was young went and never came back. It seemed to hit me harder this year. I don't know why.

I have weathered the impact of thousands of people coming to our neighborhood / beach today. I don't begrudge them this. The beach needs to be available for all. I just want them to clean up after themselves and remember that they are in a residential neighborhood.

Damn, I sound like a grumpy old man, better make that two brown ales.
Trail of tears is winding on
Frightened soldier run no more
Arm and arm with lovers gone
No one passes on the road

Two girls wait at the railroad track
For their soldiers to come back
Knowing this will be their last
One wore blue and one wore black

Good morning those in North America and good evening or good night to those eleswhere.

(Stepping onto the soap box) I find myself melancholy for this Memorial Day in the US. Let us mourn and remember the brave men and women who died for our country. Let us all ask that politicians weigh and choose carefully when we put these people in harm's way. (Stepping off)

I wish everyone a wonderfull day, evening or night as the case may be.

Might I have a cup of coffee fine sir?
I'll join Hannah with a Hannah.

Congratulations on LSU's victories.

I was productive both in the shop and writing. I have a story all but finished and a woodworking project has oil drying overnight. I am procrastinating making dinner right now.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever told anyone what my length is and frankly I don't know. If a woman really wanted to know, there is one way to find out.

I can't do anything about my "size" and I don't think I have to. But my tongue skills, I've worked to develop.
I would love a cup of coffee.

Listening to Tame Impala as I get ready for the day.
