Where has everyone gone who was on tumblr? I’ve been working on transferring my tumblr posts to bdsmlr. I also like the looks of blogr.xxx but haven’t completely learned its site architecture. Graphics are good there, though.

I like reds of all kinds. Just had some Beaujolais Nouveau from this year’s release, it’s really delicious.

I hope I haven't overlooked this if it's a feature, but how does one search for forum posts by member? Is that possible? When I see a post that's interesting in a forum I often want to see what else that same person has posted on other forum topics but don't see that there's a way to do this.

Sharing a sadness with someone, crying with them, is more intimate for me than almost anything.

The site is so nicely designed compared to other story sites. It’s much easier, and more enjoyable - because of formatting and layout - to read a story here than on any other site I’ve seen.

If there's inconsistency in mod responses to your writing, it's because the quality of your writing is on the border of being (un)acceptable.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. What I see is that some moderators ask for certain changes that others don’t care about, and that kind of inconsistency makes for inefficiency in the submission process because instead of revising once for everything a writer may have to revise multiple times, each time to solve a different problem that may not even be of concern to the next reader.

And I’ve also seen moderators asking for changes to eliminate some writing practices they actually use in their own stories. That’s clearly a not-ok double standard.

Something that might help is for the site to adopt a standard reference for grammar, and point writers to that, e.g. its particular sections or rules, when revisions are requested. I’m thinking that a common shared source of writing standards would help with the inconsistencies.

That said, grammar conventions shouldn’t be strictly applied in fiction where deviation from a standard is often useful to create certain effects, such as bringing written language closer to spoken language for the sake of conversational or playful tone. Not recognizing those uses of unconventional writing practices in fiction can be a problem in itself.

I find Booksiesilk a great site for writers of Erotica.

Booksiesilk looks interesting and I'll check that site out. Any idea about how many members, how much traffic the site has?

Honestly? If I want multiple points of view, I use third person omniscient narrator. That way you can move seamlessly from person to person without magical dividing lines. I know people love first person around here but third exists and is the most widely used in literature for a reason.

Yes, I agree. Third person omniscient is the best way to go from one character's perspective to another's. Even so it can be done confusingly if the jumps are too frequent among characters' points of view.

Thanks, I was not aware of the download option.

I would like this feature because I'm often out of wifi range when I want to read and would like to have a a group of stories saved somehow to read when my device is not networked.

I do when writing them and even before when thinking up the stories, coming up with the best lines or scenes. The work of writing tends to wash out the excitement for me though.

As long as the category includes impregnation, i.e. getting pregnant, then yes. Would be a good one.

Do you think the story is more about what you see in the pictures, i.e. what's happening, or what you imagine the people are feeling within the scene? Or what's the right balance with those aspects? That's something I can't figure out.
