Seems adventurous and outgoing based on his profile, and would be a cool person to hang out with smile

I also hate YOLO. Drives me nuts.

Swag is another one that really really annoys the hell out of me.

THAT HAIR THO.

I love it! That combined with a sense of humour, perfect!

(Is it ME or are CANADIAN writers particularly HOOKERISH???)

xx Steph.

PoisonIvory: "That's not funny, I don't even know you... In fact if you don't go RIGHT NOW and vote on at least ONE of mine I'm going to report you to the Forum Mods..."

Me: "Pie, calme tous... I was making the point that in interaction with others on site we make friends and get votes and..."

PoisionIvory: "JUST FUCKING VOTE AND COMMENT ON ONE OF MINE OR YOUR ASS IS TOAST!!!! And it BETTER be a FIVE, you dickhead..."

Me: "French Toast?"

PoisonIvory: "Actually, I'm not French-Canadian, my dad was from... WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! I SEE what you're trying to do... Get voting, you Irish Eejit!"

Me: "I VOTED ON THE FUCKING POEM, OKAY?"

lmfao!!!!

Us Canadians can't help but be social, or "hookerish" and I can totally see my self saying " And it BETTER be a FIVE, you dickhead "

It's like you really, really get me heart

I have found being social helps. This is a social networking site after all. I have a few people that have scored and commented on all of my stories consistently, and they are on my friends list, and I interact with them in one way or another.

Mods aren't always too busy either. I find the people who edit my stories to be the first to comment through a message about the plot, characters, and etc.

I also wasn't from the " Era " or whatever he was talking about, and my first few stories did OK, but my last story did pretty good for a newbie.

If it's votes and comments you desire, you're not going to find them here, my friend.

The authors who will consistently receive feedback are the stalwarts from the glorious era. (pre April 2014)

This site was a thriving community. With nearly 30,000 active members at peak times, you could expect at least 50 votes. One of my stories received over 200 votes and over 70 comments.

Now, with a mere 7000 members active at peak times, you'll be lucky if you receive any votes or comments at all.

And as for constructive feedback -- no chance.

Members on this site who know what they're talking about and are capable of giving constructive feedback are few and far between. They're too busy moderating to give you feedback anyway.

Unfortunately, and it saddens me to say it because this is/was a fantastic site, I feel this site has a lifespan of one more year at most.

Usually if it's just overnight it's fine. If it's all day and I am going out I have to shower.

Home made chicken soup. Lots of potato, noodles, veggies.

Soooo good on a fall day!

This is the same as most things. Long and thin, or short and fat, it doesn't really matter if you don't know how to use them.

You can have the best resources around, but without the proper knowledge to use them they don't do much good.

I like Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub. It's really good to keep away acne, and makes your face super smooth. It's not too expensive either.

If you really want to save money, and have a lot of grit, home made scrubs might be the way to go.

It really depends on what you want it for as well. ( Acne, Dry Skin, Cleanser, etc.)

I have noticed there is not a quick way to report a forum reply here. If possible it could be handy, and save time so that a member doesn't have to go through the contact area.

Other than that I have found that I really like this site smile Keep up the great work.

There isn't currently a way to directly report a forum post, but it would make a great addition if it's possible.

The forum we use came from something like a subscription service. We didn't create the features, but Nicola (and probably Gav) chooses which features are accessible to which members.

I'm sure if it were possible to directly report a post, it would have been made accessible by now. But just in case it's possible and is just something that's been overlooked, please feel free to put the idea forward in this thread: https://www.lushstories.com/forum/yaf_postst12279_Which-improvements-or-features-would-you-like-to-see-added.aspx

Great, Thanks. It would make it a lot quicker than going through the contact smile

Watch for your teeth, nothing feels worse than them dragging across your sensitive spot!

Just for future reference, I haven't seen a button for this. Is there a way to directly report a reply on the forums or do you need to go through the contact?

I also wanted to know about the banners, good question smile
