That first episode of the second-half of the season was pretty intense! During that one sequence with Jessie and her kids I literally sat there with my jaw dropped, even throughout the commercial break. Damn. Talk about a bloody Valentine's Day for Rick.
Nicotero always does such an epic job with these episodes. From the explosion to the burning lake... I totally appreciate the way these things were staged with care, without taking the easy way out by relying on CGI.

I agree with this about comments being a better indication. And I must also state ... emphatically ... its been ABSO-F*CKING-LUTELY WAY TOO LONG since we've seen a new MAZZZZZA story grace these pages!! Get with the program girl....your fans are getting restless.

I think what monsoon Micky is getting at is this...
I think we can all agree that there are some pretty shitty stories on here that have a perfect 5 score. We all know those stories are not perfect short fiction. But then what happens is that you are now compelled to give everything a 5. You go to read something that you may think is a 4 or average so a 3 but then you see all these horrid pieces of shit with perfect 5 scores and you feel bad giving something a deserved 4 and placing it lower than other stories that are worse but will have a higher score.
I know what you mean that you will still have people who give all their friends 100% scores anyway, no matter how shitty the story/poem is. I mean you can tell from the comments that they didn't even read it. I think part of that though is because the scoring has already become akin to a 5 being a participation award. That's the real problem.
You can't go back in time... But if you could. A 1 -10 system or 1 - 100 like you said would have curved this problem some. A 4.5, 9, 95% wouldn't have the same impact. That would be good. Those kind of scores would have been given more often and you wouldn't have any stories with a perfect 10, 5, 100%. What this would have done is make 3.5, 7, 70% scores more common as well and less "devastating". Just like on IMDB. The highest scored movies are the godfather and shawshank redemption at 9.2 each I believe. The best movies ever made according to that system aren't even 10s.
Some of the people in this thread, one of whom sends emails to low voters... Have mostly perfect 5 stories. Her stories are the godfather and sawshank redemptions of lush? Lol please... That's whats fucking up the voting system. From the beginning it's that type of crap that's ruined the voting.
