This is both for personal curiosity as well as for research on the novel I'm writing.

I'm asking this both out of curiosity as well as for research into the mind of a woman for my novel to better understand the female perspective.

I was attempting to update the links on a post, but every time I click Save, all that happens is the spinning circle on the Save button spins infinitely.

Here's a modern, low cost answer, create an NFT:

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Non-fungible_token

Not quite.

NFT ledgers claim to provide a public certificate of authenticity or proof of ownership, but the legal rights conveyed by an NFT can be uncertain. NFTs do not restrict the sharing or copying of the underlying digital files, do not necessarily convey the copyright of the digital files, and do not prevent the creation of NFTs with identical associated files.

I'll never finish my sexual bucket list cause wife would never go for it and it requires her to setup and initiate for it to come true.

I might yet again come across as the party pooper, but this is very likely to become one of those hollow multi-page threads where you'll have plenty of guys all answering: "Hell yes, I love it!"

Funny thing is, I was chatting with a girl just yesterday and she admitted to me that guys aren't usually too eager to go down on her. I don't want to reveal too many details about that girl not to make her identifiable, but I can assure you that she is 1) Young, 2) Attractive, 3) Undoubtedly very clean. In other words, she's seemingly the perfect candidate for oral sex, and yet a lot of guys deny her of that pleasure. And I've heard similar testimonies from different women through my life, either here or in real life.

I can't really comment about why some men aren't too enthusiastic about cunnilingus, but I'm fairly certain that many of them are that way. Either if it's because they find it repulsive or they simply are egocentric while having sex still remains a mystery to me.

In all honesty, this is one of those topics where women could certainly provide a much more thorough and truthful perspective. They might not understand the reasons of men, but at least they'll provide replies that are going to be quite a bit more representative of reality.

I don't really see a lot of guys jumping on this thread and openly offering all the reasons why they dislike oral sex. If you want a whole lot of empty politically correct answers though, I'm sure you'll be served, no worries.

I'm going to be 100% honest here. I don't enjoy it at all. I've done it plenty of times to get her in the mood, but women rarely if ever reciprocate, so I've stopped it completely.

Oh, I wasn't aware I could nominate myself or others. I actually have extensive experience auditing policy and procedure documents as well as drafting new procedural documents for IT support environments as well as for the medical industry. Infact, most people don't know this, but 80% of the U.S. population is protected by policy documents I drafted and got approved for a major medical repricer.

I won't pretend to be the most experienced narrative author, but I can certainly find mistakes in spelling and basic grammar that others typically miss. So if the site admin would like another volunteer, I don't mind helping out.

This would give authors submitting content a better idea of where they are in line. It wouldn't have to say how much time before a submission is reviewed, just how many submissions are ahead of theirs.

If you wanted to go a step further, you could also say how many moderators are currently reviewing stories.

Do certain moderators only review certain categories?

On a related topic, is there an information posting/page regarding what the site admin(s) look for in potential moderators of stories? Maybe allow the subscribed userbase to nominate a candidate for a volunteer moderator position?

Yeah, was able to submit covert art change request. Just need Mod to approve that and author's note update.

I just created these two new images for use on my book cover.

Interestingly, I was just able to upload a picture to "Get Verified" and it uploaded successfully. So this isn't a site-wide issue of picture uploads failing.

Many members have been asking about this feature which is now up and running. Have a look at your profile options. smile

I'm looking at my profile options, settings, everything I can click on without deleting my account basically and I don't see it.

Edit: Didn't notice that I shouldn't actually click on "Profile" under the User Menu up top.

Also, I have started using the following template to create clearly delineated plots to each chapter in my novel. If I'm unable to realistically fill all the sections with something meaningful, it might mean that I have too many chapters.

Characters:

Location:

Setting:

Crucible:

Goal:

Stakes:

Motivation:

Music:

Resistance:

Tension:

Suspense:

Climax:

Looks like tags script just had to be re-initialized. It is starting to work with more and more tags.

I've tested the issue on both Chrome and Edge browsers as well as on Android Chrome, issue is the same on all 3. Confirmed that I could remove cover photo and able to commit Draft or commit Submit with no error.

Of course, this doesn't fix the problem where I'm trying to only update cover art on a published story šŸ˜•

Being restricted to 10,000 words per submission here, I re-submitted my first publishing here as Intro - Chapter 2 which basically takes the reader through the background before the main character starts interacting with other women, some of whom become future wives of his, which happens in later chapters that will be part of additional submissions due to word length and content.

Great way to prove you created it first, email yourself a copy of it with the documents attached.

For me it is really easy to prove I wrote my story. I got fired for it from my job when a coworker rifled through my belongings, copied it on the Xerox machine and distributed it around the office before making a sexual harrassment complaint, all in direct view of multiple security cameras.

Yeah, I've already been waiting 6 days now for my first story submission to be approved as a free user, so I purchased a 1-month Gold subscription today hoping it will move me up in the queue some. Not that I can keep up the price of membership as I've been disabled from work for the past two years after a distracted teen rammed my vehicle on the driver side, totaling my car and injuring my back. So this story writing has to be done on a very tight budget at this point.

The novel I have been writing, VY: A Beginning And An End, is actually one of a few primary reasons why I will never speak to my immediate family members ever again. While working as a patient transporter for a company my older sister was a director for, I started writing this novel. Initially there was absolutely no mature content in any way in the story, and one of the staff asked to read what I was writing privately during my down time, which was considered fine. She like it, shared it with my supervisor who also said he was interested to see more. I told them they'd have to wait till it is finished and read it on their own outside of work at a later point, which they said was fine. Then two weeks later, one of the other employees working as a receptionist came in while I was not at my desk and because she didn't like me and was racist as well as sexist, decided to rifle through what was obviously my personal belongings (moving my locked cell phone of a stack of papers, moving an unused legal pad off and proceeding to read my story content which I was intentionally keeping private as it was not appropriate to be distributed at work. Seeing the content, she apparently made photocopies, and proceeded to distribute the copies to all offices in the building (all covered by brand new security cameras). Then she made a sexual harrassment complaint against me, using the distributed story as evidence.

My sister was one of the executive staff to completely ignore the presence of cameras recording the claimed offense, went along with the decision to fire me without me having any opportunity to defend myself in the matter and then proceeded to violate corporate policy by going to our parents, telling them I was "making a porno at work" as my dad put it.

So yeah, I get the embarrassment involved in writing erotic stories, but at this point, I don't care about what my family says. People will be a-holes and judgmental and cruel. That's life.

So I'm going to provide a Google Drive link to the Master document which still has some empty chapters that I am writing. So far I have the Introduction through Chapter 11 written and edited by two different editors from LitE. I have also had the first 8 chapters published over there with roughly 15k views, but I have reason to suspect that there is a significant number of irregular votes there since I could watch the votes constantly while I'm stuck at home for the past 2 years.

Anyhow, the story is called VY: A Beginning And An End, it is to put it simply, about an engineered virus that is accidentally released and it kills, as designed, only men since it destroys the Y chromosome. The story is focused around the love and acceptance of the main character's original wife accepting the new reality of her husband being forced by the government to marry potentially thousands of women, and being forced to impregnate them repeatedly to repopulate the planet and restore the gene pool.

What I would ask is that you keep an open mind and don't stop after the first few pages or first few chapters. The story develops and evolves in complexity and emotion the further along the narrative you read. I am hoping for feedback that will allow me to address issues with the story that I and the editors over at LitE may have missed.

Thank you in advance.

I actually can't stand people who live in the coastal states in most cases, which is why I refuse to ever live in one other than my time in BMT in TX. Though I also have to admit I can only barely tolerate being so close to Chicago and would prefer to move to a rural area.

I actually started using onestopforwriters.com after having been writing my novel for the past 3 years and only getting about halfway through my planned storyline. It has been night and day since I started using it because now I can easily visualize it and share my vision with editors that are now helping me fix certain issues inherent with my writing difficulties.
