At a distance I would say body shape, I like tall men with broad well defined shoulders, up close I would have to say the eyes. I think it's true when they say that the eyes are the window to the soul, and you can tell a lot about someone by looking them in the eyes.

All that being said, the physical side of things is purely for determining if you find them physically arousing. That doesn't mean anything other than you find them attractive, if I don't like their personality then it will go no further than a quick glance. (and maybe a second look for really hot guys) :-p

I agree with everything said above.

I hope it all turns out okay.

It's a great idea to ask for help from your Lush friends when proofing a story. I have had some great tips and advice from some brilliant friends, who are helping me grow as a writer.
If you ask them to make notes, and then you go back and change the mistakes, you will learn a lot more than from someone just corrects everything.

I find proofing the hardest part of writing but if you stick with it, it does get easier.

Good Luck x
I am always happy to give feedback on stories, but my editing skills aren't up to much. I have in the passed asked lush friends to help with my own editing.
It's a great way to learn, and I feel I have improved a lot.
One thing I would say, is be careful that when someone edits the story, they are looking at grammar and spelling. I prefer it of they don't comment to much on the content of the story, as I wouldn't want them to change the direction of my story. You may find that you don't mind getting creative help, but for me I like to keep my own voice and ideas. That's not to say that I don't welcome story ideas from friends, but I still like to keep control over my original idea for the direction.

Good Luck with your writing.

Taking drugs is fine. Being drugged is totally different.

I agree with this.

When I write I like to push the boundaries, and there is a very fine line, I think if you are unsure get some of your lush friends to preview the story for you submit for there opinion.

I have never had any of content rejected, although I have never written about drugs in my stories, I do know of friends that have been asked to re-write, if in doubt submit and you can always change it if needed.

Good Luck with your writing.
If 'cum' must be used I would suggest that it be used only as a noun, to distinguish between, say, semen, and the act of having an orgasm. For example, "At long last he was coming - groaning with pleasure as he spurted again and again, covering his beloved's face with cum.".

I was only having this conversation with another Author yesterday. I agree with you.
Welcome to Lush,

I always score and comment on stories that I read. I know not everyone does and thats thier choice, but being a writer myself I know how important getting honest feedback on my stories, so want to return the favor to fellow authors.
As I said above I am honest with my feedback, I dont think there is any point in being nice and lying about my views on a story, but I would never be horrible, I think its important to give constructive criticism, as I writer I welcome it myself.

When you have made some good friends on lush, you could always send them previews of your story to give more detailed feedback on, but I would make sure that the story is complete first, otherwise they could end up influencing the story and sending in a different direction to the one you planed out.

I dont have as much time as I would like, but if you ever want more feedback, I am always happy to read and comment on stories, if it will help the writer.

Hope the writing goes well.

It all depends who your writing the story for?

I understand your concern as I also write longer more detailed stories. I go back to my first question, If your writing the story for readers, I have found that a longer story may put off the average lush reader, who just wants a quick fix.
If however you are writing the story for the love of writing, then I wouldnt worry to much about it. Sometimes a story cant be rushed, and you would be taking away from it if you tried rushing things along.

Its hard not to get drawn into reader numbers, as there is a thrill to be had knowing that lots of people have read and enjoyed your story, you just have to decide why you are writing and take it from there.

If you end up writing a series, I have noticed that if you go over 3 parts the reader numbers will start to drop, so would recomend that if you do write a series try and keep it below 4 parts, but again, if you arent concerned with reader numbers then go for it, and just write what the story requires.

I hope this has helped? I will give your comp entry a read and let you know what I think.

Good luck in the comp.

As an author I have thought about it, and have taken the choice to limit the amount of description I use, giving as little information as possible and allowing the reader to imagine the setting, characters as they would find attractive. I may add a few details, perhaps hair and eye colour if I feel it adds to the story, but I don’t feel the need to go into great detail.
As a reader I want to be taken on a journey, a break from reality, drawn into some else’s world. Does that mean that is has to be a journey I have never been on before? I don’t think so, sometimes it’s nice to read something familiar, like watching a favourite old movie. It is nice to be surprised and taken on a ride, where you don’t know where you’re going to end up, but I don’t think it has to be like that at all the time.
I have read several of your stories and enjoyed everyone. I think it’s a understatement to say that you write quite well, I think you are a great writer, and hope that I one day can write stories as good as yours.

A good story for me draws me in from the start. The characters have to be believable. I like a good story, not just written porn. As a writer, if I feel inspired to become a better writer after reading someone’s story, then in my book they are a good writer and have written a great story. I like well written description, that are not to repetitive and that gets me hot and bothered, after all that’s why we come and read the stories on lush ;-)
If she doesnt ask you, then your not being dishonest, your just not telling her everything, its different.

If like me you feel like you have to be honest, then you should be able to trust this girl with your secret, if she's the type of girl to go and tell everyone, is she really the person you want to give your virginity to?
I will probably watch most things, but as I always wanted to be a gymnastic when I was little, I will definately be watching that.
Most definitely! There's nothing like a bit of rough ;-)

That's not to say I dont like to be in control some of the time, but its always hot to give myself to my man, but I dont like to make it to easy for him
I appericiate any comment left on my story good or bad, if someone has taken the time to read my story and then leave a comment it means a lot.

I couldnt decide between the two comment below;

"Along with part 1 I rate this as some of the finest writing Lush has to offer. It almost goes without saying that it's incredibly arousing, but I love the fact that there are also all kinds of interesting subtexts."

"The confliction of will and desire is so real, the sense of guilt prfound, yet the pull of her lust overwhelming. And the use of the dream was a nice stroke of creative writing. Very erotic and arousing. Great story. I look forward to the next installment with anticipation."

They really built my confidence and encouraged me to keep writing.
Coffee, White, Two sugars, I'm on my second cup of the morning x
I do own Pj's but I tend to just wear them round the house in the evening. I sleep in my knickers and nothing else. I have a dressing gown close by if I need to get up and cover up quick.
I have a few passing comment that my profile information was a little basic, and I have in the past not accepted friend request from people for not really having much info on their profile.

It’s the first I've heard someone moaning about too much information.

I'd just ignore it.

Believe me, I've tried it all. I don't know what else to try. These guys talk down to her and call her fat and other nasty names. She just takes it and relishes in the fact that she "can't" things. Then again she never really puts the effort in and absolutely refuses to date guys lower than what she's used to. Believe me, she looks at guys like me as a 3 out of 10 on her hotness scale.

I think its really sweet that you care so much about her and it sound like a really great friend.

Unfortunately no matter how hard you try to convince her that its a good idea to lose a little weight, if her minds not in it, it just not going to work. It has to come from her, she has to want to change.

All you can really do is continue being a good friend, and hope that one day she meets someone that will change her view on what's important when it comes to choosing men.

I started out just reading stories, but after a submiting a story I got hooked, and love writing now. I didnt set out to make friends here, but have found some really lovely people and made some very good new friends.
If you give it a go, if it doesnt work out a least you know you gave it a shot. If you feel that strongly about each other the distance will not matter.
If it's available then I will watch internet porn, but if i'm not by the laptop or its not pratical (the bath for instance) then I will go for the option of fantasy, thinking about a person or situation.

I tend to read erotic stories as a warm up, it gets me excited and then I find myself watching porn to get a release.

Hope this helps x
The worst for me has to be being submerged in water, I used to hate swimming lessons at school. I could swim well enough not to be in the begineers group, so they moved me to the next group and always tried to make me drive under the water.

To this day I still get panicked at putting my head below the water. Its a bit of a bummer really as I would love to enjoy water sprots, but if theres a chance that I could go under I just cant do it.

I did manage to concour part of my fear on holiday when I went snorkeling.

The other big one is enclosed spaces. I was at one of those adventure play parks, going through one of those plastic tunnels, two horrible boys decided it would be funny to trap me in the middle and not let me out, I shit myself (for all those non-british - this phrase is not to be taken literally lol - It means I was very scared ;-)
Everybody has something that they arent very confident in, even those that act like they dont have a care in the world.

If you meet the right person you tend to find that they build your confidence anyway, try not putting so much pressure on yourself.

I dont know about pineapple jucie, but I have some in the fridge so might just give that a go

I do know for a fact that if he eats curry, or has a heavy session on the booze, then it makes it have a bitter after taste, but thats never put me off lol.

I really dont mind the word, but then it depends on which context you use it in, to aggressively call someone a cunt in a argument isnt very nice at all, but if you are to refering to a womans soaking wet cunt, I wouldnt mind that at all.

For me its all to do with the tone behind the word, not the word itself.

Now that we have the ability to sort messages into folders, it would be helpful to do so several at once as with deletions rather than having to do them one by one. I am certain that we all have a lot of them to file.

I was thinking that as well.

Also I would love to able to attach music that play's over the background of my story, as I write to music, and feel it would really add the feeling I want to the story.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me what gender the writer is. I've read crappy stories written by both female and male writers and I've read really amazing stories from writers of both genders.

This is so true! - It doesnt really matter what sex the writer is if they are a good writer.

It also depends on what pov you want a story from, I enjoy reading stories from men as if gives me an idea of what it feels like for them.

I find it easier to write from a womans point of view as I can use my past experience to draw from.
