Schools are closed earlier after first term so, less driving in traffic. Kids got heaps of homework for the holiday and if the situation persists, video tutorials will also be added to keep the curriculum running on schedule. While our city is not that affected (Only 60odd cases in South Africa on 16/3) I did observe some gloves and masks but not overly so. Impulsive buying is at the order of the day and some shelves are empty. One shopping chain promoted a full range of meat, fresh produce and groceries but not really my favourite outlet. I get by with what I need on a day to day basis. Border closures have not affected us that much but the real risk in South Africa are the townships where facilities are not up to scratch (I'll avoid politics) and disease could spread rapidly.

I have heard about the devastation in Texas as well as measures to curb further loss and damage to properties.
I have also just heard about a Tornado warning for New Orleans.
As a Rescuer and one with a humanitarian heart, my heart goes out to those affected by the events.

Ok Jaume, Don't lose faith.
First of all, you have only been exercising for two weeks. Don't go tipping scales as it will only discourage you.
My one question is; have you done a de-tox at all? If not and you need so help, PM me.
Remember one thing, Cardio is the one that takes the extra fat away. So, walk often and cycle as well.
The next thing; as soon as you start putting iron on your frame, fat will strip but muscle will build which, weighs more than fat.
I have been exercising regularly for almost two years. I still weigh 180 pounds but I have less body fat. Have a professional do a BMI and see where you need to work most.
My Gym Instructor says: the exercise that works it the ones you do, So keep going, you are doing well and, a lot more than a lot of people out there.

Nope, it happened too fast and she was quite mature (20 yrs older) as well. At the time, the various diseases were still short of being invented so that scare was virtually non-existent. I spent very little on condoms and more on spermicides but I did have a few adventures where anything could have happened. I was very, very lucky in my younger days.
