To all those "work out at home naked" responses, some of us prefer out of doors activities. Also, as the Hot Wife mentioned, running or any strenuous activity sans a good supportive sports bra is neither comfortable or good for those ligaments.

Small, more frequent loads, with vinegar (Heinz sells cleaning strength) keep the drenched bras and shirts from smelling so much. As do leaving them hanging on my railing in the sun to dry. It's the armored gloves, the camel back, and other assorted gear that get strong. Those are harder to clean!

Its rarely horse shit. Its too difficult to collect, and doesnt provide as much nutrients as other animals. Chicken shit is actually very expensive (per my post earlier in this thread), so those bags at the store are frequently from cattle. Easy to collect, produced in huge numbers and not as valuable as chicken shit for spreading on fields.
