If you made a movie out of a lush story, which story would you choose? Why? And Who would you choose to act in it?
Usually, I'd go with someone else's story, but the thing with movies, they need a solid story line that would carry through a 2 hours movie - that's assuming you mean an actual movie, and not a porn film. i'm in the middle of one here, that is purposely somewhat cinematic - Butterfly Beach.

https://www.lushstories.com/stories/fantasy-scifi/butterfly-beach-i-the-wreck-of-the.aspx

I'm open for casting suggestions, btw, but i'm going to go ahead and throw out some thoughts, based on the fantasy that series actors would star in an erotic movie...

Olivia: Amanda Seyfried
Emma: Emilia Clarke
James: Tom Hiddleston
Bull: Idris Elba
Gav: Christoph Waltz
Grant: Gorden Joseph Levitt
Isshu: Don Cheedle
Rosouk: Andy Serkis
Ilbissara: Zoe Saldana

the last one is a teeny spoiler - any others would be major spoiler, so...

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

OH I LOVE THIS CATAGORY ;-)

I'd choose Resisting Fate, by Poppet and Milik

1. Red Elk - Rick Mora. He was in Twilight, but he'd be perfect anyway, lol

2. Elsie / White Dove - Chloë Grace Moretz (If I Stay) She can do vulnerable and strong very well!

Thsy are the major players and it's a really engaging, sweet story.

I have three famous stories, 2 recommended reads and have come in the top ten in two competitions~ Come in and make yourself at home.

you did read the TOS, right? i mean, the important rules as in the 10 commandments - thou shall not speak the T word outloud. consider yourself banned for life. too bad, i liked you, too.

in other news, i have given up drinking, so, naturally, my consumption of halcinagins is way up. get used to the new regime - just wait until i take over and change the color scheme. you're all going to love it, naturally. hence forth you shall all refer to me as Queen Rachel XI. that last is pronouced Shi, btw, not "the eleventh" - only the brits do that and we all know about the brits... they're shifty.

I have three things to say about that -

1. I'm a Brit and I'm not shifty
2. You've given up drinking?
3. YOU'VE GIVEN UP DRINKING????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't.

And who's Rick Mora?

That is MY kind of giving up drinking! *hic*

And Butterfly Beach would be perfect cinematic fare, and the casting suggestions don't hurt either.

PS: I'm dead shifty, me.

I am truly very sorry, I shall NOT use the T word again. My fingers actually started to glimmer in the sun as I wrote that...It was a SIGN! I AM THROWING MYSELF ON THE MERCY OF THE ROYAL COURT...

'Thou shalt not use the T word'...crappy vampires ANYWAY

Can I pick TWO???

https://www.lushstories.com/stories/oral-sex/cricket-vaughn-and-the-don-part-one.aspx

Stephano Santangelo: GABRIEL BYRNE

Cricket Vaughn: CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

(Because it's sexy, funny, brilliantly plotted, (I know what happens!) and it gets REALLY DARK!!!)

https://www.lushstories.com/stories/gay-male/between-two-worlds.aspx

Charlie: JESSE WILLIAMS

Tommy: WENTWORTH MILLER

(Because THIS would make 'Brokeback Mountain' look like a fucking DISNEY MOVIE!!!)

xx SF

(I WONDER what Lady Mysteria and Varrick, respectively, would think of those choices???)

Both Of Them: "NOOOOOOOOO!"

I’m not familiar with the career of Jesse Williams so had to look him up. Now that I have, I can sort of see him and Wentworth Miller in those roles.

They’re somewhat older than the characters in my story, but as this is the movie we’re talking about, we’d probably have to fend off a few creative types trying cast Harrison Ford and Robert Redford as the late teen/early twenties young men discovering first love and bourgeoning sexuality. Up against that, I’d much rather go with your choices!
Can I see a version of Mrs. Vandameer's Rules staring Natalie Dormer in the title role? Pretty pretty please?

A bit impertinent to comment on an authors choice, but:
Karen Farmer: Natalie Imbruglia or Anna Morrison (Giggle)
Jemima Rana: Kristin Scott-Thomas - or Kristin Davis
Francoise : Charlotte Rampling
Albert Farmer: Yes - Andy Serkis
Pascale - Emma W - who could argue?
Dominique - Ashley Green

Surprised I did not select the young Jolie or Bardot for a part?
Not at all impertinent, Robert.
I am honoured that you enjoyed the story enough to think about this. Thank you.

So, Charlotte Rampling? A very good choice.
Can't really agree with your choices for Jemima as she had part Indian heritage and neither of those have eastern looks at all. Catherine Bell is half Indian.
A had to look up Ashley Greene.
And Natalie Imbruglia is good too but not sure about that Anna Morrison though.
She can't act although she has been known to act up at times!

I'd definitely love to see Sprite's Mrs Vandermeer's Rules made into a movie. Just the tension alone would make it something to behold. Oh my...

I like Dakota Johnson as Shannon. While perhaps a bit old for it, she has a sweet innocence that I think would play very nicely indeed. And if nothing else, she could do with a stint in a decent BDSM movie.

My vote's for Elizabeth Banks to play Mrs Vandermeer. She has a sinister edge to her that would contrast really well with Dakota.

And Clive Owen as the husband would set the whole thing off nicely. He's got a brooding intensity that would complement the other two perfectly... not that I've put too much thought into this or anything...

If I was going to do one of my own stories, I'd go with Overflow. I'm expanding it into a novel this year, and it's the only one I have in the hopper at the moment with the legs to carry a movie.

I'd cast Hugh Jackman as Will, assuming I couldn't have a crack at it myself;
Isla Fisher as Katie;
Lisa McCune as Melissa;
Eric Bana as Rob;
Sam Worthington as Ian; and
Claudia Karvan as Sally.

Certainly fun to think about...
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.
