Smashed it girl.... well done and very well deserved.
Glad I found this thread, I continuously have a 2 notifications bell icon with nothing underneath it. I'll try that clear all method. Thank you.
Just for information: I have found with many notifications that you can click and dismiss the first ten, but if you refresh the page, another 10 will appear. I've used that technique a lot.
I haven't written much this year, a few competition entries but that's about it. The start of this year is going to be difficult. It may provide some ideas but I'm very much a write it immediately kind of guy. When that spark happens, I mull it over, spin it around a few times, work out the twist and where its going to go, sit on it a while, rethink it. All of this in my head over, perhaps, a 3 day period. Then when I'm sure about it, write it in a few hours, basically I keep going until I finish it or I'm interrupted. As you can imagine from that, I don't tend to create in depth stories, but I want to change that this year, I do want to create something that takes longer to put together or requires research.......we shall see.
A huge congratulations to those on the podium and everyone that entered this competition.
But, what am I doing here!! 🤔
I feel really honoured to be sitting amongst giants, so a huge thank you to everyone that read Angela's Art Day and especially those that thought it worthy of being here.
Thank you 😁
I’ve been mulling over the issue aboard the Wicked Wench. After some thought, it seems obvious to me that AvidlyCurious is the demanding little slut of a ringleader, simply because she loves rings and often leads with her tongue.
Only the other day, I caught her rimming one of the female crew members as they slapped their thighs in delight, despite one of the crew shouting, “she’s behind you.” Never a true word spoken in jest, as they say.
I’ve seen her hiding all the jewels that have been plundered up her ample backside and encouraging all the other female crew members to do the same, which is why she’s always smiling. She’s planning something.
Any WannabeWordsmith would be able to tell that she lies when questioned about her innocence.
As for walking the plank, she’d walk anyone’s plank until she’s satisfied and they’re exhausted. Confining her to Davy Jones’ locker won’t work – she’s immune to chastity belts, and Davy Jones wouldn’t stand a chance once she’s extracted a tit-swinging, cunt clenching orgasm from him. And as for that octopus, well, she’d just smile and invite all eight tentacles to fill every hole possible.

I had a biopsy on a red spot on side of my nose. It fucking hurts like a bitch to get a needle stuck in the side of your nose. I may not have been very brave during this procedure. 🙄
Could have been worse, Kimmi. Could have been on the side of your lips. No, not those, the ones down there....
Hopefully, My Melissa is going to be bare. I mean be there.
Anyway she told me that she'll take on all cummers. I didn't know what that meant or how to spell it, so I've done my best.
I suggest you have a cake, some beer or a gin and tonic from the bar while you consider this intrusion into your social lives that you didn't actually ask for. I know, it's like someone coming though the door of a pub and shouting, "Big Issue."
Well, Melissa is big. And Beautiful. And full of life.
As a blatant plug though.
We have (InnocentGirl29 and Myself) published the first of a new eight part series called the Making of Melissa. It's in the queue ready to be rejected because of blatant sexual references. As if.
This series of stories were conceived and written a long time ago. During Covid, and we finished just as this site went into major upheaval. We felt it wasn't worth publishing then, but I think we're over the worse of it.
The synopsis is:
This is a series of eight stories documenting the Making of Melissa. It is a journey of the fall of a naughty wife into the depths of sexual bliss. A woman that can’t say no to the controlling influence upon her. There is nothing she won’t try in the pursuit of pleasure, no hole left untouched and no limit to the depths of depravity that she will descend.
We both hope you enjoy her journey as much as we have enjoyed creating and writing it.

Especially stories that have cover images. I can't upload one either. It won't save as draft or submit.
At the moment, I'm frustrated and if Lush would submit, I'd spank it's fucking ass until it's RAW!
Kimmi submitting, Master Darkside I'll proudly be the whipping girl
Hahaha....bend over and be a good girl, Kimmi. 😏 I can just imagine your excitement. Now, here's the thing, if you got spanked every time Lush went wrong.... you'd be in heaven!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
At least it was working for you when you submitted your comp entry so it's something more recent than that.
Congrats to Saucy, Jaymal and VV for taking the top 3 places. Excellent work by you three. I'm especially pleased to see VV in amongst the prizes. I really am 😁😁😁
So pleased for everyone in the top 10 too and chuffed that I qualified with my modest offering.
I wonder what the next topic is going to be about...🥴

The government taxes beer.
Advantage: Pussy.
In Texas, paying for pussy is NOw a FELONY... advantage Beer!!!
Well, now I'm confused. Where the fuck do people buy cats from? Do they have to go across the border and then maybe disguise it as a dog to bring it back. Jeez. That's weird right!!! 😉
I'll have a beer to be on the safe side, Rumps.
Don't want to get caught up in any pussy hustling.
No, fuck, give me water, let's play it really safe 😁😁😁
I always find it's raining outside when you need a much earned drink. But I'll have to forgo the whisky or brandy abs even the beer.
Lemsip please barman.
Only popped into day thanks to James for his weekly digest in between sneezes. Aren't you lot lucky there's a glass screen between you and me.
James, excellent idea to post people's stories because of lack of notifications. I'm trying my best to keep up every now and then.
I've had a hard day...I know, what a stupid innuendo...but hey, I'd like a whisky please and a big hello to everyone in the pub, especially Rumps.....😜😜😜
Particular congratulations to Tamara, WW, and Kimmi for taking home all that lovely cash.
I am honoured to be amongst the top ten of course but congratulations to everyone that entered, there was an abundance of good work as there always is. So, very good to be propping up deviantsusie....and before she asks...no it's not my hand! 🤣🤣🤣
I've already ordered my whisky Tamara.
No unfortunately no one knows I write on Lush. I say unfortunately because I'd like one friend to know and I'd like the wife to know too, but it's been a long time now.
I have written and shared erotica with my wife before, so she knows I can write this stuff, but that was before I found Lush. When I started publishing I hid the fact that I did it and I don't know why.
So this is my pleasure and it has allowed me to spread my wings in different forms of erotica that I wouldn't have ordinarily done.
That's fascinating research Annie, well done for compiling this. So many different authors, though some did occur more than a few times, so well done to them. I feel honoured to have taken the first place in Femdom...A sign that I must write more in this category perhaps. 😁
I think the publishing side of stories still has bugs. I successfully posted a story from my saved stories today and I've just noticed that the parts that were in italics (as posted from Lush v1) are no longer in italics when the story is now published. The formatting has been stripped, but it was there before I pressed the submit button.
Quote by DarkSideQuote by JenQuote by DarkSideThis should now be fixed. Can you check when you get a chance and let me know? Thanks :)Quote by JenI'm not doing that - there's enough italics in that story and the current editor is stripping out all formatting. I'm not going through it all putting it all back in.Hiya, there is currently an issue with stories saved as draft. They're not being submitted unfortunately. If you can copy and paste the story into s new submission, and submit immediately rather than save as a draft, that should work
Thanks for letting me know anyway.
Could fixing that editor be top priority please. It seems it's essential.
Hi Jen,
I just logged on and checked. I copied a word document that had normal, italic, bold, underline, left, centre and right and full justification into the Story editor and everything came out as left justified normal text. So not fixed yet I'm afraid. It may take a while to trickle through?!
Submitting saved stories is now WORKING!!!!!! YAY!
I submitted it and it appeared half way down my list of published stories - seems it went into a position for 9 Aug when I uploaded it to Lush V1. It has the blue banner for Story Pending. But they are moved from unpublished to published - it really needs to come out on the top though. So hopefully the mods will adjust the date that it is currently showing.
Thanks you.

It was waiting to be published and I've found the story, clicked on it, edited it so that I can see the publish button, I've also added a picture (from my file system - thanks). Submitted it. A popup appears telling me the story has been submitted and the blue banner at the top says that the story is currently in draft.
When I tab onto the Published stories - it is not there. When I go back to unpublished - it is there.
I was expecting a blue banner saying it was being verified in the published stories area - but nothing there. I tried six or seven times.
Is this a bug? or is there a way to do this properly.

Quote by TheSensualLadyThat's where I've been going wrong. I went to Groups on the main tabs and searched for it. The search didn't come up with anything. I shall have a look to see if it's in my navigation panel and whether it works.Quote by DarkSideI went to your profile and clicked the Navigation tab then clicked on Groups (if you are using the desktop version then you'll have the Groups showing on your profile). When I clicked on Groups I scrolled down the list of groups you've joined. I found Amateur erotica at the bottom.I think there are groups that are missing from this new Lush v2. I recently joined a group on Lush v1 called Amateur erotica. I've tried searching for it and can't find it. I would appreciate if someone could check that out for me, please.
Thanks

How do we get rid of seeing peoples footers? Not interested in seeing those.
We don’t have a list of the moderators and admin team anymore. Will we be able to see that?
Hugs,

I just emailed a support ticket due to functionality in the story editor. I used to be able to paste word documents into it and all the formatting was preserved. The new editor strips italics and centre formatted text, it probably strips everything from word but I haven't tried everything.
Any ideas when this can be fixed. It's stopping me putting stories into Lush at the moment, not a big deal - probably for the best really, but I'm not reformatting it all again. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't because there is no centre format icon.
"It's on the list and we have looked at it but it's not a simple thing to implement. It could be several months before we can find a workaround, Admin"
This post may be a bit late but if anyone is interested in that TIMELINE on this new website then I think I've managed to replicate it (sort of).
Click on your icon and select My Comments. A new page will open. Unfortunately it always opens with the filter set to All, but if you select the Comment Type you can set it to Story. Set the Show box to Comments and Likes. Clicking on Filter then shows you all the comments made on your stories (including your own). You can even reply to them from that page.
Hope this helps anyone that has been trying to find this functionality. It's a pain that it always defaults back to All though, I'm sure it'll be fixed.
Can I now have a beer please. Because I'm exhausted getting up to speed with this new site. Every thing I seem to click on generates a new question in my head!?
