Heights. But not so much the height, more the falling. Actually it's more the hitting the ground at the end of the fall i am afraid of. The falling itself could be quite fun.
Not a fan of large crowds either.

My belief is to confront your fears and conquer them.

As a long term pilot of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft (15,000 hours). I'm frightened of heights. I can't look over a cliff or recently look over Hoover Dam. It makes me freak out. Shivers and paralyzing fear. But... If I'm flying I'm not scared in the least. Weird huh?

Cthulhu. That dude's MEAN! ...oh, and Republicans. (not necessarily in that order)

And... I'm fearful of ultra liberal chicks disguised as a beautiful Indian princesses. They lure in innocent conservative guys and wammo, they are thinking progressive. (Shutter)

Aids, or any other thing like it. I have unprotected sex with several others and am always afraid some of them might have something. Kind of scary.

I haven't yet found a phobia. I like spiders and snakes (and used to keep both), I like scorpions and dogs (with plenty of respect) and I'm quite content to lie in the middle of a very small CT scanner without getting claustrophobic. I've hung off the front of the Kariba dam being held by my belt and ankles to get a good look at the swallow nests down the front of the dam and done parachuting, parasailing, parascending and paragliding.

I'm not very keen on cockroaches though- does that count?

Other than that, while I'm not afraid of death at all, painful long and drawn out death is quite scary.

Recently I just recovered from a rare heart virus. At one point I truly thought it was the end, when they brought in the crash cart. It is such a helpless feeling to be so weak it is impossible to even lift your arm.

So my biggest fear is death it's self. But that fear is also my biggest motivator. I consider each day a blessing, a gift.

After being wounded and spending nine months is a hospital watching soldiers not as lucky. My fear is letting them down, because I live for them as well.

Other than werewolves, not much. I have been in many dangerous places and situations... One should only fear the 'OLD' ones in a profession where you die young is the norm.

I'm afraid of living the rest of my life alone, not having anyone to share all the good things with
Active Ink Slinger
I am afraid of not growing old, but outliving everyone who knows me. It would be terrible to be alive and not have anyone to talk to and remember with.
