Are you hungry? Miss Spicy Apple, because you're making me hungry with all these food threads.

Italian generally but I love going to new restaurants and experimenting.

On what I would describe as a plain salad with lettuce, kale, carrots, cukes and tomato (or something else as basic as that) I often just add a little parmesan and pepper. Decent tomatoes make all the difference. I rarely add dressing to salads but I do enjoy exotic flavours.

My favorite salad includes strawberries and blueberries with assorted veggies. On that I use peach poppyseed dressing.

These are in order from my most favorite. Honey Mustard, Peppercorn Ranch, ranch, 1000 Island, Russian.

I make homemade balsamic vinaigrette. I did it once when I forgot to buy dressing and it is, by far, my wife's and my favorite.

It's easy, too!

1/3 cup of Virgin Olive oil
1/3 cup of Balsamic Vinegar
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tsp dry basil
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp black pepper

(I think that's right. I wrote that from memory.)

Balsamic vinaigrette or olive oil.
Unless it's a caesar salad in which case the choice would be caesar dressing, obviously.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

There are really only two options for me. A) None. B) Mullens Imitation French. Yes, that's a specific brand and flavor. I've found absolutely nothing else that I like.

Not surprisingly, Mullens is what I grew up on.

Depends on the salad, honestly if it's prepared well shouldn't need dressing, however that being said, like balsamic, Italian and on rare occasions ranch.

Ceaser dressing is good. I also like blue cheese or just a simple vinaigrette.

Newman's Own Light Caesar. Goes on all kinds of salad, and adds dimension to any number of other foods. I put it in spaghetti sauce or sautee meats in it, for example. It's an all-purpose wonder!
