ok, i've been lax, i admit it. i actually meant to do this in December and... life got away from me, but in a way, it's kind of nice to open out the new year by presenting https://www.lushstories.com/TonyaL with an awesome award for being, well... awesome.
full disclosure, i had asked ChrisM to send me a testimony and, of course, i misfiled it, but i figure it's gonna be easy to wing this one a bit.
Tonya joined us on Feb 6, 2015 and, since then has written 39 stories, some of which have achieved RRs. that's not why she's getting this, tho. This is for something beyond writing - it's for that intangible something that caught my attention early on. it's her warm, caring spirit that is so infectious. she's a regular at Rump's bar and it's impossible to visit the place without feeling her welcoming presence. seems she always opens up the place and sets the tone, regardless of what is going on in her life. living my example is the best way i can explain it. not matter how rough her day, her week, no matter what's going on, she's always got a moment to uplift everyone she comes in contact with.
the same with the project semi colon thread. she's been quietly inspriational as well as opening herself up for anyone needing an ear, a hug, someone to talk to. no matter what her own troubles, she's been there for so many lushies, never asking for anything in return. while i don't know her well, i know her well enough to know that the high regard for her that her friends hold is well earned. you'll probably be hearing from a lot of them in the near future, i'm guessing. :)
so yeah, Tonya? You're awesome. I mean, officially. you don't really need my stamp of approval for that, but you do deserve it.
