We were delighted with the entries in this competition.

All the judges had CuriousAnnie's excellent entry in their Top 3. Having first hand experience of many Sydney Mardi Gras, I was taken on a very believable and realistic journey with that one in particular.

Congratulations too to Jaded Buddha and Ping.

1st Place: On Oxford Street, This Gay Girl Found Pride While Playing With Balls, by CuriousAnnie
2nd Place: Lost and Found, by jaded_buddha
3rd Place: Hustle, by Ping

These wonderful stories made up the Top 10:

That Time Cousin Milly Helped Me Seduce Sean, by LucaByDesign
Love is Love, by TonyaL
Eric's Secret, by seeker4
Woven, by tams_back_yay
Lesbian Pussy From Dimension X, by vanessa26
Luca Ascending, by Lauradj
The Pianist, by ChrisM

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this competition, as well as those who supported our site's efforts with the avatar competition.

A new competition will be announced shortly.

Cheers,

Nicola

Congratulations to the worthy winners. Wonderful stories, for sure. And nicely done getting into the top ten, you other lucky folks.

Well done, all.
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to Curious_Annie, jaded_buddha, and Ping. Well-deserved all. Likewise, the rest of the top ten.

And thanks to all who read and voted on Eric's Secret and to the judges. It's not often that I make the top ten so I'm thankful to those who saw enough merit in this one to put it there.

I didn't get to all the stories, but the ones I read were excellent takes on the theme and I was glad to see a good number of submissions.
Many congratulations to Annie, the top 3, the top 10 and all who entered. The standard of this competition was truly fantastic. So many wonderful stories!

Huge congratulations to the winners and everyone who entered. I knew curious Annie was one to watch after the first story I read of hers: she is an amazing writer and her win is so well deserved. congratulations too to jaded Buddha whose stories are always so perfectly written and to the wonderfully imaginative Ping too.
Big congrats to CuriousAnnie, jaded_buddha, Ping, and all of the runners up!

SWEET!!!

Congrats to Annie! Well done!!! And congrats to the rest that she leapfrogged to take the gold. Fabulous competition theme. Brutal contest to judge. Thanks to those involved behind the scenes, especially the judges. Thanks All!
Thrilled to be part of this amazing contest and beyond thrilled to have placed! Congratulations to CuriousAnnie and Ping, to the awesome runners-up, and to everyone who entered and made it a fantastic contest!

“Writing is a socially acceptable form of getting naked in public.” -Paulo Coelho

Congratulations to everyone who entered, made the top ten and of course the podium. I sadly didn't manage to read as many this time around, but those I did, I thoroughly enjoyed, and it was good to take a walk into categories I tend to avoid. Well done all.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 126 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 3 poems with the following features:

* 30 Editor's Picks, 83 Recommended Reads.
* 16 competition podium places, 11 other times in the top ten.
* 23 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

Congratulations to Annie, Jaded and Ping, as well as all the top ten and, for that matter, everyone who entered. I am very proud (see what I did there?) of all the entrants who shared their stories, experiences, or perceptions of Pride and what it means/meant to them.

Great contest and super fun to be a part of!

Special thanks to Nicola for putting these contests on. It must be a lot of work, so know that it is appreciated!
Congrats to all who managed to enter, and especially to the three on the podium and the remainder of the Dean's List. Writing a story you're willing to enter in a competition, especially when faced with arbitrary subject matter and word limits, is not an easy thing. It's truly great to see that we have so many talented authors here.
Congratulations to all fifty-one writers who entered; every story was, for me, a joy to read. Inspirational and oh so in keeping with the Pride theme, special congratulations to jaded_buddha, Ping and the rest of the top ten.

Super contest and I loved being part of it. Thanks to Nicola and all those who organised and judged this contest.

Um, I set out to write my story in a way that was worthy of the contest theme and the simply wonderful comments, including those from writers I admire, have been so encouraging. To have won is, to be honest, overwhelming and I am, unusually for me, speechless. Thanks so very much for your support, I appreciate it more than I have words to say. Special thanks to Curvy for moderating my story and her kind words.

Annie

Do check out my latest story:

Festive Flash competition: The Ghost of Christmas Past

And my other stories, including 5 EPs, 24 RR's, and 15 competition top 10's including my pride competition winner: On Oxford Street, This Gay Girl Found Pride While Playing With Balls

Congratulations to CuriousAnnie on winning the story competition. And congrats to Jaded_Buddha and Ping on 2nd & 3rd. And also, the outstanding authors who finished out the Top 10.

Great comp!
Congratulations to all who won, placed and entered! Most definitely contributions worthy of pride. Well done, all of you.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.
And check out those sexy pride competition badges!

(I might pinch Ping's because he's got loads of other ones...)
Congratulations to all those who made this place full of pride over the last month and a bit, and especially those who made the top ten. So much reading to catch up on...

And hats off to Ping, Jaded_Buddha and CuriousAnnie - great to see a story about Sydney up there. smile

Lovely. And I just noticed the one for The Moment You Knew on my profile and Green_Man's sig. It's nice, too. Not sure why I missed it before.
