Another fun competition at Lush HQ, showing once again the diversity on offer from our authors.

Before i get to the winners, I want to say a huge thanks to the person who shortlisted this one for me (I'm on vacation and was being ultimately lazy, lol), and also to all the judges who offered their two cents and insights into the stories that moved them the most.

Without further ado though, let me say huge congratulations to TheShyThespian, who tops the leaderboard for this one with his brilliantly moving tale of space exploits. It's tough to pack that much emotion into erotica in such a tight word count, so well done, Jason smile

In second place, another massive well done goes to CarltonStJames, who just delighted the judges with his particular brand of dirty talk.

And third place this time around goes to the brilliant Visioneer, whose story really stood out for its clever dialogue, which left the reader to fill in the blanks.

Three wonderful stories, so congrats to those authors, and to the rest of our talented bunch who made the top ten.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this one. As always, you didn't make our jobs easy, which honestly, we're not complaining about.

I'm already looking forward to the next competition. Now I just need to figure out what the heck it's going to be about. I'll post about this shortly :)

To the winners/runners up, I'm literally about to board a flight back to the UK, so I'll be out of reach for the next wee while. I will be in contact with everyone tomorrow to sort out prizes and awards. If any story mods read this and want to award EPs/RRs in my absence, have at it, otherwise I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Thanks everyone,

Jen x

I'm in shock. Holy shi...

Wow, life has been sucky for a while, so this brought a big, broad smile to my face. A podium spot. This is surreal 😳.

Jason's story was so goddamn good. Broke my fucking heart, which is the show of fantastic storytelling.

A big shout out and congratulations to everyone in the top ten!!

My last published story: Ho For The Holidays

Such a diverse set of stories. I wouldn't have known where to begin shortlisting so I'm glad it wasn't my job. To have even made it in, let alone 4th, is astonishing given the field. Honoured.

Congratulations to the well-deserved top 3. Superb writing all round, and as others have said, great to see a load of new faces too. Anyone who had the courage to dream up a story and share it here is a winner in my eye.

Massive thanks as always to the judges, shortlister, site owners keeping the lights on, and of course anyone who takes time to read and comment on the stories our authors conjure. You're all top banana.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 116 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 75 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 11 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

To Mr. Thespian, Carlton and Visioneer, my warmest congratulations, such flair and panache in a very difficult, and popular competition, you are very worthy winners indeed. Bravo! 😘

For my story to be placed, that is an amazing honour - I have such problems with dialogue. Wonderful news for the last days of my long holiday sojourn. Mr. Wordsmith, I like to think we put Paris in a very naughty spotlight! I loved your story.

To everyone else, many congratulations, too, keep going and keep writing. Last, but most important, to the team that make this all possible, for your incredible work and these delicious competitions, you are the best! ❤️

This is my collection of muses and stories. Stories of note include:

Little Bird - A true story of submission and dominance set in Paris between an older couple and their younger lover.

Le Weekend - Six lives intertwined during one weekend create events that change their lives forever.

I'll echo Carlton - I'm in shock 😳! I cannot express how delighted and awed I am to have been considered worthy enough to be at the top of such a talented field. Someone very wise on this site once said that in order to win you have to 'knock it out of the park'. But I confess that I never know if I'm even close to that. Usually, I am full of self-doubt and have no idea if I've just written a pile of rubbish.

Does this mean I get a 'Competition Winner' badge 😊?

Well done to everyone who entered, to those who finished in the top ten, and to Carlton and Visioneer - it's an honour to share the podium with you.

Thank you Jen, judges, shortlister, and all those behind the scenes who work to make these competitions happen. And thank you to those who read, voted and/or commented on my emotional little story. You've helped keep my spirits up. I'm afraid I only managed to read a few this time, so apologies if I have not managed to read yours. I will try and make amends 🙄.

Think Of Me… - 1st place in the 'Dirty Talk' competition.

Down the Rabbit Hole - 3rd place in the 'Unleashed' competition.

The Intimate and Top Secret Files of Lady Agnes Jackhammer - 3rd place in the 'Punked' competition.

Samhain Shenanigans of the Satyr - 3rd place in the 'Halloweenie' competition.

Congratulations, ShyThespian! Yours was my favourite entry, so I'm glad you won! And thanks to all the other writers who submitted, that was a really fun competition!

Didn’t see this coming...

I’ve been stuck in a writing drought unable to bring stories to completion for a long time, and to see it broken with a place on the competition podium is immensely therapeutic.

Congratulations to TheShyThespian, CarltonStJames, and everyone in the top 10.

My sincere thanks to readers, judges, and to those working behind the curtains to keep Lush moving.

I am truly honored to have my story selected as one of the top 10 in this competition. Congratulations to the top 3 for their outstanding work—I was captivated by your creativity and talent. To everyone who entered, your stories made this a rich and inspiring experience for us all.

A special thank you to the judges for their time and thoughtful consideration. Your feedback and recognition mean so much.

Good job all! Congratulations to the podium and thanks to the site and entrants.

A woman goes shopping in the local mall. But what the heck is she shopping for in that outfit? My Festive Flash comp entry.

Minnie's Merry Mall Christmas

Agreed! Proud to be among some great writers here. Thanks all. And thanks to KimmiBeGood for alerting me to the news. I didn’t even know!

Congratulations to everyone in the top 10, especially to TheShyThespian, Carlton, and Visioneer!

I have a new story out! Wish You Were Here A teasing sub may I have pushed too far, but the punishment is oh so sweet.

If you haven't already, please check out my story with leftlingula. A husband and wife rediscovered each other and It all started with one simple word...
Nightshade Part 1 & Nightshade: Part 2

I'll repeat the astonishment I expressed in my comment to "Think of Me ..." What an incredibly powerful and sexy story, and to realize (which I didn't, until after I'd finished it) that it's 100% dialogue illuminates it as a staggering achievement. Well done, and well deserved.

Congratulations as well to everyone else named in the top ten. I've read, Liked and commented on every one of these tales, and they all deserve the recognition.

Kudos also to all who entered: even beyond the Top Ten, I found numerous stories to Like and quite a few to add to my Favorites collection as well. It was great fun reading them all, something I don't always manage to do.

My newest story: Midlife Resurgence: Piñas Coladas

Not in the contest but Festively Flashing: Disrobed

Festive Flash competition entry: Amy's Mom

I get dicked by a federal agent in Recommended Read Dick Job

I pork everyone in my other Recommended Read, Pork by Northwest

Card catalog? Hard catalog! My library

Congratulations and thanks to all who entered, read, commented, organized and judged. Special congrats to those on the podium, unfortunately life kept me so busy that I only read 20 percent of the stories and only three in the top ten. One was TheShyThespian's which I totally loved; I will have to find the time to read many more inside and outside that top ten.

Do check out my latest story:

Festive Flash competition: The Ghost of Christmas Past

And my other stories, including 5 EPs, 22 RR's, and 15 competition top 10's including my pride competition winner: On Oxford Street, This Gay Girl Found Pride While Playing With Balls

Congratulations to the winners. There was a lot of really great work in this competition. I especially enjoyed the authors who went beyond the low hanging fruit of phone sex to explore how else the dialog challenge could be taken up. Some of you were pretty inventive in your approach.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Congrats to the podium three and to all fellow top ten-ers! I'm looking forward to catching up with the smut-talking stories I've missed and being surprised by all the novel angles that writers have taken with the theme. Stay creatively naughty, people! 😘

Congrats to all of the podiums, it is no easy task keeping writers like WannabeWordsmith, Jaymal and AmuseBouche off of the podiums.

Congrats to the other seven authors making up the top ten, and also commiserations to those that didn't quite make it this time around. It has truly been such a fun comp to read - full of such high quality writing.

You are all pushing the bar of expectations higher and higher as a community.

Lastly, a huge pat on the back to Jen and the judges, this one couldn't have been an easy one to judge at all.

I seem to write a story every 1.5 years on average.

This is very true. It is easy to think your writing is not good enough, so I empathise with our new writers who do well. More, please! I wish for all writers here to excel, and if I might inspire others, this is the highest honour!

For you to mention me (and the wonderful Jaymal and Mr. Wordsmith) is a fine compliment. Thank you, Georgina. 😘
