I approach girls who post clever, well-written and entertaining responses consistently in the forums, and who also have an interesting profile (which does not imply having fake pictures of naked pornstars). I also like when I can imagine what kind of person is behind the words ; it proves that she has personality and wants to have genuine interactions with other people. At this point, the same thing that makes me approach anyone on lush. If I find someone that would be interesting to talk to on a friendship level then I talk to them. For me, that usually takes place in the chat rooms, as that is where I spend most of my time.

First off, there aren't any "girls" on Lush - or if they are girls, they are not supposed to be here. This is an adult site, so all the females on here are women.

I think what each person wants out of this site determines that. I look at the profile pics. I look for attractive women to ask if they would be willing to looking at my stories. The reason I do this is because I figure if I got all these hot babes reading my stuff that will help generate interest in my
story telling. More guys would want to read my stuff because they seeing all these bomb shells into my stuff . So the guys would be more inclined to read my stuff to learn any would be "tips". It comes down to one thing getting fans and keeping fans.
Next I look at the forums and see who has interesting things to say. People with original/thought provoking things to say are people I would like to call friend.
Sadly my tactics have not worked too well. Most people I message never message me back. One day I'll get up to 10 friend just you watch.

Honestly, that annoys the crap out of me when I get those types of messages. "Hey, I'd like to be your friend, but here's some homework first." Hell no! I'm just not that nice of a person.
You mention that these tactics aren't working, so maybe I can suggest another approach. You want people to read and support your writing, but do you do that for other authors on Lush? I checked your profile and you have neither the commentator nor the electorate badge and you've been a member for almost 1 1/2 years, so it doesn't look like you do much reading here. Sounds like you want to be taken seriously as a writer, so why wouldn't you support other writers here? Maybe read their stories and comment and, in kind, they'll do the same for you. Not only will you have fellow writers reading your stuff, but some of them are even bombshells (especially Buz; he's a hottie.
) Also, you might learn a thing or two about writing, because there are some amazing writers here. I know, I've have quite a few of them as friends. Sometimes you've got to give a little to get a little. Good luck!

Being relatively new, though I have read the stories for a long time, I would say that what initially gets me curious is how well spoken or funny some one may be. If my curiosity peeks my interest enough I will check out their profile and see if it is someone worth contacting (interesting, funny, sarcastic, intelligent, etc...) or not (likes sex with family members, being urinated on, hates guys, doesn't want to be approached, uses chia pets as sex toys, etc...). Looking at pictures also comes into play, because I may find the profile and humor appealing but if she can bench press a Buick, has 7 or 8 digits on each hand or foot, or bears a strong resemblance to big foot I will be less inclined to initiate some sort of dialogue. But alas, I am new and maybe naive but that is my two cents worth.
