*blushes* in a perfect world, instead of a ring on my finger, she'll put a collar on me. ... LOL

My ex wife did that with her new guy recently. They found a officiant who was cool with it, they exchanged rings and she collard him. Not my thing, but they're happy.

Not the same wedding as above but I did attend a nudist (both participants and audience) wedding once. Bride wore a veil, groom a tophat, and the brides maids carried flowers. (think of the savings on bridesmaid dresses!)
I do enjoy watching the wedding shows on cable. Like Four Weddings, Don't tell the bride (I love seeing if the groom can plan the wedding) and Gypsy Weddings.
Haven't really given much thought to this… but it will be a small, simple and elegantly ethereal afternoon outdoor wedding with the sound of the ocean in the background - not a beach wedding… held under a huge tree, simple backless dress, groom- real casual, no shoes for both us … the guests will consists of family and handful on close friends all fitting on one long table… a mad hatter/garden tea party type reception, bocce and croquet to play and we'll dance the night away… biggrin
I'm perfectly happy living in sin for the rest of my days...

BUT

I do want a ring... a nice chunk of sapphire, accented by small diamonds on a white gold or platinum band
Getting married at 18 I had no idea what I was doing, there are countless things I would do different.

I love the idea of a beach wedding since he beach is one of my favorite places and the scenery and sounds would be beautiful.

However, I would love an outdoor fall wedding. Somewhere that had beautiful, vibrant leaves. Maybe do it a little before sunset. Have a bouquet of bright fall flowers and berries, wear a dress with 3/4 lace sleeves, have my hair down, a lace vail. Have a someone play an acoustic guitar.

Simple but really beautiful.

The ring? I love vintage looks, nothing too big and flashy.

And have a super fun reception with lots of dancing. I think those videos you see of the groom or the bride and groom coming up with those choreographed dances are super cute!

But mainly, just full of love.

haven't really thought much about it, but i plan on wearing chucks underneath my dress at some point.

Say. Her. Name.

I like the perfect Wedding of Sprite, Dancing Doll and Honeydipped. If some day I got married a mix of that sounds perfect. Something comfortable, small, funny and just with real loved ones. And the most important thing, doing my best in order my wife have the perfect day and always remember that day.
I have handled planning wedding events many times. I have always found simpler is usually better. A big wedding with all that pomp and circumstance that comes with it can be beautiful. It can also easily get out of control and grow into an all consuming monster. If you are going to go for a big wedding, get a professional to help put it together. It is well worth the extra money and will probably save money in the long run. Make sure the contract with the planner is as specific as possible and that any changes that happen are documented. It is much easier to let an expert deal with the headaches that go with all the planning, plus it helps keep unwanted interference from relatives to a minimum. This will give you more time to plan the honeymoon and that is almost always a more enjoyable task. I encourage my clients to spend their money on a great and memorable honeymoon than an big wedding, but what the customer wants is what they get.

No matter what you do things can go wrong. Remember what's important. It's not if the cake or flowers were poorly done or late, or that Uncle Joe got drunk and caused a scene; it is that you are proclaiming to the world that you have found the person you love and wish to spend your life with. The important thing is the look of love in their eyes and the kiss when you say I do. Nothing else really matters in the long run.
You have the right spouse, It is a PERFECT Wedding// Marriage is the finale!!
Any one I don't have to attend. See you at the reception.
I've had a perfect wedding at a country bed and breakfast. The reception was in a glass candle lit room with a view of the stars catered by a gourmet chef. Then 13 years later the perfect vow renewal in a tropical jungle setting in a gazebo in the middle of a cliff over looking the sea, waves crashing directly below us in Jamaica. Still married after 23 years.

Bunny Rabbits cute and fuzzy they want to love you but they have razor sharp teeth - don't piss them off!
We had a big catholic wedding me in a big flowing princess ball gown my hubby in top hat and tails
We had a big church wedding with all the fixings. I wore my Moms refitted gown. Six bridesmaids, six groomsman. Five level cake, dancing to live band, full dinner catered for 150 guests. Honeymoon in Paris... Oh yeah the hottest husband on the planet. Nine months later I delivered an eight pound three ounce boy that is still the light of my life.
This is my second marriage and if I had it to do all over again, I would say no wedding is a good wedding, just bad luck I guess....
