So what is ONE thing you wish you had known about sex that you had to learn the hard way? Or maybe you just learned it later than you wish you had.
I learned about sex very young, but I didn't learn until too late how much shame our repressive society attaches to sexual freedom and openness. It got me into a lot of trouble early on, but it ultimately led me to the point where I just don't give a damn anymore what people think. I paid the price. I'm free to be me now!
Like Beth I was very young when I was learning about the birds and the bees. Much of my sexual education was self taught or from experience.- some good some bad.
The one thing nobody told me was that sex with another girl was an amazing experience.
It took another girl to show me this, much later in life than I now wished. This changed my whole life and I have never looked back since. I am and have been bisexual since that day.
No one told me anything about sex! It has been a long, slow process learning. Glad to finally figure things out (well, until something new comes along that I don't know about...)
That size really mattered, I would have tied a brick to it when I was 10.
How painful it is the first time
That, unlike in movies or pornos, it doesn't always go smoothly. Sometimes positions can get awkward... it's not always amazing and passionate.

I wish I had learned years ago that sex comes in all different colors. Words, scents, actions, locations, emotions, the list goes on and on. Sex is not black and white.
