Only if he wants me to leave him.

I couldn't agree more Daisy, and I'd hope that you would do it right then. Before leaving him, you might take a couple of seconds to slap his face, then walk out. smile For the life of me I can't understand why any woman would put up with being called something like that. Obviously he has NO respect for her, so she is much better off without him.

It is great when a couple gets comfortable enough with each other to refer to the other person by pet names. Instead of a derogatory name such as that, why not something complimentary like 'honey, my love, sweetheart, etc.'? The English language provides numerous terms of endearment that are not demeaning. The original meaning of that word wasn't very complimentary, and I don't care how much anyone tries to change that, it still means the same thing. I'd never, under any circumstance, call someone that I even remotely cared about a name like that. If I did use that term, believe me, they would know that I sure didn't mean it to be a compliment.
If you're feeling bored during this Covid-19 epidemic I’d like to suggest
you take a peek at a story I collaborated with SueBrasil, a brilliant author.
It's about a mistake in judgment a lady makes concerning a friend, based
on the hurtful words of someone that only thinks of himself. Will that
conniving person succeed in ruining a beautiful friendship, or will she see
through his lies? It's gradually creeping up towards the 30,000 mark
and we’d love any votes or hearing whatever comments you may wish
to make. It is listed in my profile under ‘FAVOURITES’ as Apologize.

This. Honestly, in the right context, at the right time, I'm okay with being called "bitch" (thus my "99.95% of the time not okay" comment before), but I am never okay with being called "sugar" or "honey" or "babe" or "sweetie"--I actually find those words more demeaning, because they're just thrown out there, with no thought given.

When I wrote my previous comment, I did refer to the term 'honey', however, I was using it in the context that two people deeply in love with each other would use it, while either in or out of the bedroom. In this case, it would have a deep romantic connotation. My question to Dirty_D is, in a case like this, would it bother you to be called 'honey'?

My reply to you HeraTeleia, is that I have to agree with you when you say that so many people, guys in particular, do call every woman they meet, even total strangers, 'honey', 'babe' as well as the other terms you mentioned. It is true, they just throw it out there without any thought or care given to how it may sound to the lady. I think that this is wrong, and I'd NEVER do it. I'm wondering, that given the situation that I described in the previous paragraph addressed to Dirty_D, how would you feel then? Would it still be offensive or demeaning to you?

I'd love to hear you two ladies comment on this.

Is it okay for the girl in your life to call you "asshole"?
She's a saint with the lips of a sinner.

depends. when he calls me a bitch, is he being tongue in cheek? like, we're playing monopoly and i land on park place and he owns it and he says he is gong to make me his monopoly bitch? i can probably hang with that.

or are we having a disagreement about something, and he tells me that i'm being a bitch because he's pissed off? 'cause that probably means it's time to come get your toothbrush, extra t shirt and whatever else you've left over at my place and go find a woman who's ok with being called "bitch."

Right On! Disrespect is disrespect and you shouldn't stand for it.

It all depends on the context.

In a sexual context, yes. Any other, no way. Only if they want a fist upside their head.

never ok to call me that
I will put it to you this way. If I was to call my wife that I not only am in for a fight and we hardly ever do. She would beat the crap out of me and all sex with me is out the window! That is TOTAL disrespect towards her.
i don't mind it, but i am a badass biker bitch lol

it is NOT sexy when having sex to be called names like bitch or slut

that being said i do love dirty talk

but you can be sexy and filthy without putting someone down

REALLY great question...thank you for this!!!

says it all ...

Absolutely NOT! It's OK for me to call myself "bitchy" on a bad day but I would not appreciate any man calling me one...

I'm not one and never call me one if he does it'll be his first and last time
I never in 13 years of marriage called my wife a bitch I may say she is being bitchy but never called her a bitch
I might occasionally be bitchy, but never call me a bitch!
He won't be the guy in my life for very long.
NO! I'll bitch slap his face!
If he is the man who I know loves me and he is pounding my cunt for the third time in a short period and says "You Fucking Bitch" I have no problem with it.

But if we are in a heated discussing and he says "You Fucking Bitch" that is very different and he is likely to get knock on his ass!

Those of you Lush Sisters who would withhold sex from your guy. May I ask "Who is being punished!
Usually I love being addressed as a BITCH
Great turn on for me.............................

I actually like it, if it's during sex, and if the guy can pull off "dirty talk" (because many can't). Otherwise, aside from the joking around examples mentioned above, no, I don't care for it.

This about says it for me... certainly in normal life "I ain't no one's bitch!"
do you mean as in "shut up, bitch" or "you're acting like a bitch"? if it's the former, i'm NOT with that. if it's the latter, then i can be more understanding, cos sometimes i CAN be bitchy.

Say. Her. Name.

Some women like to be called names like that. I don't understand why, but if it works for them, great.

If my man ever started calling me names I'd end it.
He never has, and he's not the type of man who would. His mother raised him to respect women and treat them well.
He doesn't even bad mouth his ex-wife, and honestly, I wouldn't blame him if he did. She's about as nutballs as they come.
I really don't mind being called a bitch at all by anyone, as long as there willing to be slapped right after.. I enjoy dirty talk during sex but I defiantly don't see or find the need to use words what are used to belittle another person during sex or any other point of time in someone's life
my black boyfriend calls me his bitch i think that means you are black owned
No it is not. Not if wants to keep his head on his shoulders.
unless it is in a playful way by this I mean calling me a sexy bitch during sex then yes or in a playful mood but in any other circumstance NO! even if I am in a bitchy mood
I hate being called a bitch! I will walk out the door in a minute if you call me that! That being said if you call me a bitch can I call you a mother fucker!
Believe in yourself and all things are possible
