However, the first time should NOT be painful, nor should any vaginal penetration should be painful. The pain is due to the lack of lubrication, experience, and sexual excitement. People get so nervous and scared that they're not natural aroused enough. It WILL be uncomfortable, because a penis (or anything you stick up there) is a foreign object that your body has to get used to. But, the discomfort only lasts for a few minutes if your partner knows what he's doing.

My first time was painful but it had nothing to do with my vagina or his penis. The guy was so skinny and the way we were positioned his hips were hitting my thighs and bruised them. Ouch. The actual sex didn't hurt at all. If it does for some reason, just tell the guy to take it easy until you get comfortable. Just don't stay a virgin out of fear! It feels too good to miss out on! It might, and it might not. I've had friends tell me it hurt when their hymen was broken, but with me, it didn't.
