I think it works better as foreplay, at least it has in my relationships. If we couldn't see each other than talking dirty online would just make us that more hot for when we did see each other.

I think cybering is a lot hotter than just reading erotic stories by oneself. It's the mind that's being seduced and someone with a facility for words can invoke responses more easily than can reading stories. What it takes, though, is someone who can not only form actual sentences, but also type them. Text-speak does not work for me. I actually enjoy it when I've the time, usually when I am writing a story that involves sex will I cyber. I find it focuses my mind on the task at hand.

Cybering with the right person can be totally awesome. The chat script in my story Hubby's Special Present was an actual chat word for word except for the last 3 lines to tie it into the story. Have to agree with what Lydia said and many on Lush know that I have found that special someone and it is so much better to hear the persons voice then text brings a whole lot more emotion to it still cybering by text is great fun.
