For me, it is many things:

a) how social the site has become - the profile areas, comments, feedback on stories etc

b) the number of friendships myself and others have made. How many people have actually met in person, and the fact that a few are even getting married as a result of the site being created

c) the vast number of excellent writers we have attracted in such a short space of time

d) the story categories which are the most popular

e) the number of colourful characters we have in the forums

f) the willingness of people to help others, giving their time freely

How about you?

It surprises me how people continue to complain, crib, create scenes, get into fights, accuse and abuse the one who is bothering them and yet choose NOT to block the same.RiOdhPvCyxwr9gLj
I LOVE THIS SITE!! cant get over all the friends ive made, i had an account before this one and for personal reasons i had to leave i told all my friends i had to leave and juts about all of them added me onto my . i love this site. whenever i would go onto the "usual" porn sites such as redtube and porn hub my computer would die before i could even watch a video. i never thought i would be able to get horny through words but i have and i love how i can post my problems in the forums without being judged.
Love the site, great stories, fantastic people

Disappointed that there isnt more constructive help, posted 3 stories and all rejected then the links didnt work to try and improve them, very frustrating.

Dislike the people who request to be friends then ignore you

Did you use the Contact button to ask for help with the links? Did you contact any of the mods to ask them about it? Or even ask in these forums for help in editing your story so it's acceptable or meets site guidelines?
What has surprised me the most is:

- how different the site is from the moment you become a member from when you were a guest.

- the CHARACTERS it has a members.

- how great some of the debates are in the Think thank.

Type the phrase " stories" in google - for us, it's one of 30 odd categories. In no way do we try to attract people interested in that genre.

You'll probably encounter exactly the same thing on all other erotica sites.
I am quite a newbie on the site and, having decided I wanted to write some short stories, I picked this one after trawling through loads of sites. I am so glad that I did. I have learned about how to write a better story and also heard about things I never knew existed (it takes me a while to catch up sometimes!!).

I love the friends that I have attracted and we have some good laughs together plus chatting over problems they might have, etc.

I only chose the genre in the first place because it seemed to be the most popular and I am amazed at the positive reaction it got, even though I am not comfortable with it - but each to their own. What is acceptable in one country does not follow in another does it.

I am now totally addicted to the site which had really surprised me.

how many people seem to be here just for the cybering. I got on to publish my erotica.
I was surprised at how bright and erudite most users seem. How the majority of posters are competent users of their native tongue. The amount of intelligent political and social comments. The great YouTube and picture threads that actually entertain, the wit and camaraderie that a lot of the more experienced posters display when interacting with one another...

You got cool Mods too btw.

I am not used to this...I thought at first I had stumbled upon some parallel universe type of internet community....where everything is the opposite of what it has been in my Universe of , pd,fb, trolling YouTube comments and fluffy wiccan message forums.

I like it here.

I am a newbie, less than a month, so I am sure my words wouldn't carry the weight of a mult-year seasoned pro; but surprisingly, I do have a voice here. I write a story and from comments and emails I learn my mistakes, edit them and and a few minutes later, the edited version is online. Thank You, Nazhinaz, Gypsymoth, TheScottishGal, LauraLee_sugah, DLizze and many others for your comments.
Thank You Lush!

I venture into the forums and find Nicola's postings, which contain valuable information on nearly every category I could think of. Additional input from other seasoned writers such as Gypsymoth, Dirty Martini, Mistress of Words, and the effervescent Sprite as well as many others, guide my path.
Thank You All!

I read the stories, so many stories, and find real gems such as PennLady's "Pretending Series", "Sensual Scenes: Patent Pumps" by Cumgirl, "Paris in Flames" by Sprite. "Editor's Picks", so many beautiful stories, so many gifted writers! I find I am reading such amazing stories and the authors allow me to comment, even criticize their gems; but more important, I learn from them.
I love it.

Is Lush perfect? No, of course not! But it seems to be home for FtLMale.
How many people are so fasinated with and how many people likes a virgin
How much it has helped me discover about myself.
All I came here for was to read other's stories, and to get some feedback on my stories but I have found some "friends" here, too. I was, and continue to be, pleasantly surprised at how open other writers are with offering help, suggestions, and comments. I have been on various social sites off and on since about 2000, and this is by far the friendliest. And I am surprised (and a little scared) by a connection I made, and am making here, that I was not looking for at all.

And you put them in the same sentence? That sounds like another "Lush" story in the works.
April 2012, we are to be wed on a Tibetan mountain top. The Dalai Lama will be in charge of the nuptials as Buddhist monks cremonially chant and 1000 whit doves are released. Decided to go small as we didn't want to make a fuss.
I was shocked at the popularity of stories. In the region I am from (southern USA) is considered on the same sicko level as child molestation and . So yes totally surprised at that.
Mainly just the openness of everybody, especially about sex and ect, there seems to very few subjects that are , and everybody chips in really good info and opinions up front personal and mostly genuine, thats something i havent seen very much before, but i definatley makes me want to stick around here a while smile

laughing .... I think he meant the proper short form "etc" for etcetera.

Et cetera (in English, /ɛtˈsɛtərə/ or /ɛtˈsɛdərə/; Latin pronunciation: [ɛt ˈkeːtɛra]) is a Latin expression that means "and other things", or "and so forth"

et·cet·er·a   [et-set-er-uh, ‐se-truh]
1. a number of other things or persons unspecified.
2. etceteras, extras or sundries.
