The more believable the better in my opinion.
It doesn't necessarily have to be real accounts, but if I don't believe something can happen, I tend to loose focus.
I do care if the story is believable. If the story feels real, I continue reading and possibly am inspire by the story. If the story is not believable, I am not interested...Honestly, I feel most stories on Lush are pure fantasy!
It makes it easier to read if it is believeable.
It is VERY important that a story is believable...at least within the confines of the setting. If you write a Horror- or Sci-Fi story, of course you can do a lot more then in a realistic setting, but even there you have to take great care not to damage the suspension of disbelieve.
In erotica I find this even more important then in, for example, light entertainment. A story where some total jerk (male or female) conquers every encounter just by his or her enormous physical characteristics for example gives me nothing.
If a story is a fantasy, amazon winged huntresses seducing bespectacled green ninjas, then I accept it as such and just enjoy the read.
But if it takes place in the real word, I want every detail, action and description to be realistic and believable. Nor do I want perfect characters and bodies, we all have imperfections, but when we are attracted to someone, we narrow our thoughts to what attracts us. Let the story do the same.
Personally, I don't care but if it's really an extreme fantasy then it's hard to actually be immersed in the story
I prefer the stories to be believable whenever possible. Of course if it is something involving aliens or the supernatural then being a little out there is acceptable, but they are not my favorite stories. I also like it when all the characters arent supermodels or have 10" cocks.
I like it when I get to know the characters and get a feeling for how the plot develops before there is sex. Love to know why the sex happens, the seduction. Not just the seduction of the characters,I love when the story seduces the readers too!
I thinkthat fiction, like film, requires and expects a certain amount of illing suspension of disbelie. But the six pack abs, ten inch cocks, and 34 double G boobs are a bit much. The day I got out of bootcamp, I could press double my weight, do sixty situps in a minute, run five miles while carrying an eleven pound rifle, and climb a rope hand over hand without using my legs. But I have never had a six pack (except in bottles or cans), and neither have 99% of the real men in this word.
