I don't do photography myself, but I have a lot of photographers for friends, all from university. This one photograph got me the most, though all of them are beautifully composed and captured, I couldn't figure out what the white substance is--snow, salt, foam? Do tell, it'll nag me for ages. And I could've definitely gone without seeing the bug.. even close up and detailed they give me the creeps!

Its snow...and I knew the bug would cause a few queezey stomachs...
Sunset over Broome. Northern western Aust.
I love that place

Moon rising In Broome. They call it the stairway to heaven as the tide recedes across the mud flats it creates the ladder effect to the moon
Its standard, everyone in Broome must do the sunset camel ride along Cable Beach
Im going to double dip here. Posted these in the sunset thread too.

Majestic photo!
I'm always having trouble picking my favourites, but here's a few I like:

Eating squid

I like this picture because the water looks somewhat unreal.
My First Bamboo, I was so happy!

I took this at sunset on the beach in Tortola, BVI

The view from the top of Peter Island, BVI towards Tortola.

Just a couple of winter shots from last year...
I used a Nikon F80 and Kodak Royal Gold 200 film.
I process my own personal photos.
I'm currently borrowing Canon's 60D along with a few lenses.... I'm too skint to be splashing out on lenses so don't get to attempt the likes of insects with my own camera. This is by no means a great picture, but as one of my first attempts here we go:

Edit: Ick, having to upload a low quality image to get it to be able to post has totally taken out the details.

Anyone can take a good photo of a flower...but I do like this one especially

Shylass, #1 and #3 are just superb...

Thank you. I'm just learning really. I like to potter about with my editing, although I usually keep it simple. I like the contrasts of stuff, and I like to play with a bit of colour in it, too. This one got me a little prize in a newspaper:

This one was taken after a service for the life of my friends' baby who died at just a few weeks old:

I did flowers for a wedding, and got to crash with my camera:

This one is lovely. I am a bit of a sucker for B&W.
This is another one I have up on a canvas

Oregon coast

I took this photo with a olympus p&s. Nothing fancy, but it holds up to my travels & tolerates getting wet!
Fond sailing memories!

(this one isn't a sailing memory.... lol)

This is such a great shot love the contrast

Accidental shot, but I like it.

Sunrise in Miami(Biscayne Bay)
This taken with a 100mm macro lens. Its a simple image, but that lens is sharp as a tack..
