Be true to the you within you
Let her shine like a thousand stars
A fist full of dreams, wrapped tightly
Kept under wraps and out of the sunlight
From interacting with others
So she wouldn't realize her predicament

Too beautiful for words
Like nothing I have ever witnessed
Long dark locks of hair and curves galore
I'd treasure her like he doesn't seem to want to
I don't think she deserves someone like me
But a jewel that catches her eye should be
The guy she believes she needs
Who sets her heart aflutter, the world ceases to exist
And nothing will stand between them

Though I need love too
I can't be selfish and think I somehow should be the one
To rain on her parade, could I keep her happy?
I have my own obstacles to overcome
Though she is right
I need to put myself first from now on
And enjoy this life
Once I learn how to be happy I hopefully can be
