1. My dog, 13yo Maggie, passed away on June 4th this year, and I still catch a glimpse of her or hear her around the house.
2. I lived in an RV full-time and traveled the U.S. for three years.
3. I've traveled to a foreign country under a fake name and ID and safely returned.
This issue may be a one-off, but I thought I would mention it. Last week I submitted a story for publication, and it sat for three days in a pending verification status (blue banner telling me to be patient.) Finally, I got suspicious it may be in "La La Land," so I deleted it and resubmitted it, and it was verified and published within two hours. I've only experienced this once.
Congrats to the winners, the rest of the top ten and all participants. I enjoyed reading every story, and there were a bunch of them. 😊

Besides getting some tips and advice here, I want to mention I feel much better knowing my struggles with editing stories is not uncommon. I identify so closely with the errors and tribulations others have mentioned here. Thanks to all who have commented.
