A few years ago I joined a site for writers. I wrote short stories, things of that sort and lots of poetry. On this site they had an erotica section. I read one story and i was hooked. I was not hooked in a "i am so turned on" kind of way but in a "I am so very interested in this amazing form of writing" kind of way. I found it to be beautiful and breath taking so I gave it a shot. People really seemed to love the things that I was putting out there and I have been writing it ever since.

Do you tend to have recurring themes (or characters) in all your erotic stories?
I have a lot of series based stories, so a lot of characters and ideas are used over and over. I do have a few that are no series though and those sometimes pull away from what most of my writing is about. I try to switch it up every now and again. It gets boring writing one theme over and over again, sometimes a different story is all it takes to set you back on track.
Do you prefer writing stroke fiction or do you aspire to creating high end and complex literary tales?
Well I would love to write high end and complex literary tales. I think that in some ways I get closer to that then in other ways. So right now I would say that I am somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. I feel I give just enough to make it a stroke story but I also tend to give it a little more that pushes it closer to high end and complex.
Does your style involve the use of humour, quirkiness, or tongue-in-cheek satire?
I am not really sure. I mean it is possible that bit of those things are thrown into my stories but they are never in large portions.
Do you relish the dirty details or do you prefer to leave more to the imagination during sex scenes?
I feel that I try to give as much information as I can but still leave a little bit of room for the imagination to play. I want people to really see what it is that is in my head as to what is happening. The more detail I can give, the better chance I have of getting them to that point. I don't give so much detail though that you get bored of the story before it even really begins.

I love stories with romance and intimacy. I feel that I try to put a good amount of that into my stories. Though at times, you really just want something down and dirty, no romance, not feelings for each other, just good honest fucking.
Do you mainly write true-life tales from your sexual past?
I have wrote one story that was a true life tale and it was only the first part, I couldn't even finish the second half. I think when I am writing about real life things, I cant seem to finish. Not that my real life stories are not fun and exciting, its just harder for me to write about them. Maybe because I don't own the characters, and I can't imagine what they are thinking or feeling and I can't always relay all details that need to be given. So I try now to shy away from writing about real life events.

So I have been thinking about trying to work at publishing some things, or writing some things to have them published. I however know nothing about getting erotica type writings published. Does anyone know any good places? Does anyone currently get their work published? Do you get paid for it? Is it even worth trying?
