Publishing

So I have been thinking about trying to work at publishing some things, or writing some things to have them published. I however know nothing about getting erotica type writings published. Does anyone know any good places? Does anyone currently get their work published? Do you get paid for it? Is it even worth trying?

There are several avenues to go but erotica is a tricky subject with even a lot of self-publishing companies. My own erotic novel was just put up on Amazon for sale through Kindle and download. Still waiting to see how things go as it has only been out there 24 hours or so. If you go to Amazon and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page there is a link to find out about self-publishing through them. They do actual books as well as download so check out their options. I re-edited My novel in a month and from there it was a matter of getting the copyright, buying an ISBN, and then submitting it. For sale turnaround is generally 48 hours or so after submission.
