My fiancée would kill me so sorry to say I can't. She's already pissy I'm on this site with "all the beautiful women". And a woman always outranks a man so I follow orders.

Okay who's got a good service tatoo? I have the names of the St. Michael and St. Barbara intertwined around a cross on the inside of my upper arm and a globe and anchor on the shoulder of my other arm.

My fiancé and I are expecting our first child soon. Any advice? I can lead a group of men and keep them alive but this is a little beyond me. And advice tips and heads up will be greatly appreciated

Where The Stars And Stripes And Eagle Fly- Aaron Tippin

Well if you ask me where I come from
Here's what I tell everyone
I was born by God's dear grace
In an extraordinary place
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

It's a big 'ol land with countless dreams
Happiness ain't out of reach
Hard work pays off the way it should
Yeah, I've seen enough to know that we've got it good
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

There's a lady that stands in a harbor
For what we believe
And there's a bell that still echoes
The price that it cost to be free

I pledge allegiance to this flag
And if that bothers you, well that's too bad
But if you got pride and you're proud you do
Hey, we could use some more like me and you
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

Yes there's a lady that stands in a harbor
For what we believe
And there's a bell that still echoes
The price that it cost to be free

No, it ain't the only place on earth
But it's the only place that I prefer
To love my wife and raise my kids
Hey, the same way that my daddy did
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

Where the stars and stripes and the eagle...fly
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

Tracy Lawrence - If I Dont Make It Back

We went out for beers and a couple of laughs
Knowin' full well that every bad joke that Jimmy told
Might be his last
So we laughed like the world wasn't at war
Said things to him we'd never said before
And he teared up as he held up his glass
He said, boys, if I don't make it back

Have a beer for me, don't waste no tears on me
On Friday night sit on the visitors side
And cheer for the home team
Drive my Camaro, 90 miles an hour down Red Rock Road
With 'Born to Run' blastin' on the radio
And find someone good enough for Amy
Who will love her like I would have
If I don't make it back

We said, hey, man that ain't gonna happen
Don't even think like that
If we know you, you'll pull through without a scratch
He pulled me aside in the parkin' lot
Said, Amy and me we're gonna tie the knot
You're my best man, just wanted you to know that
Just in case I don't make it back

Have a beer for me, don't waste no tears on me
On Friday night sit on the visitors side
And cheer for the home team
Drive my Camaro, 90 miles an hour down Red Rock Road
With 'Born to Run' blastin' on the radio
And find someone good enough for Amy
Who will love her like I would have
If I don't make it back

If the good Lord calls me home
I'd like to think my friends
Will think about me when I'm gone

Well, Miller Lite ain't my brand
But I drink one every now and then, in his honour
And we ain't missed a home game yet
Had that Camero at 110 on Red Rock Road
When the speakers blowed
And I introduced Amy to a friend of mine from Monroe
He's a good ol' boy
But you know, she just ain't ready

John Michael Montgomery - Letters From Home

My Dearest son, it's almost June
I hope this letter catches up with you
And finds you well
It's been dry
But they're callin' for rain
And everything's the same old same
In Johnsonville
Your stubborn old daddy
Ain't said too much
But I'm sure you know
He sends his love

And she goes on
In a letter from home

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared
And our boots ain't muddy
And they all laugh
Like there's something funny
'Bout the way I talk
When I say, "Mamma sends her best, y'all"

I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me drivin' on
Waitin' on letters from home

My dearest love, it's almost dawn
I've been lyin' here all night long
Wonderin' where you might be
I saw your mamma
And I showed her the ring
Man on the television
Said something
So I couldn't sleep
But I'll be alright,
I'm just missin' you
And this is me kissin' you
X's and O's in a letter from home

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared
And our boots ain't muddy
And they all laugh
'Cause she calls me honey,
But they take it hard
'Cause I don't read the good parts

I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me drivin' on
Waitin' on letters from home

Dear son, I know I ain't written
I'm Sittin' here tonight alone in the kitchen
It occurs to me
I might not have said it
So I'll say it now
"Son, You make me proud"

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared
And our boots ain't muddy
But no one laughs
'Cause there's ain't nothin' funny
When a soldier cries
And I just wipe my eyes

I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me drivin' on
Waitin' on letters from home

SEMPER FI to all my brothers out there and the only true heros the ones we left behind
Active Ink Slinger
granted but you fall asleep and drown

i wish for an island and all the sex i can want from the women on it
Active Ink Slinger
it goes back to a time when men would go out and and pillage and plunder and kill stuff for a living. In lieu of taking the whole woman as the "trophy" of a successful conquest or raid() or attack men now just take small tokens to keep those pesky kidnapping charges away.DLNleHZTEmdUymZR

There are similar topics on the mens section but what do you gals think of telling a guy you love them? if they tell you does it make you feel threatened, intimidated, pressured or something else?
Active Ink Slinger
Sometimes. If it is someone i met in a club just for a good time and completely sober and can say it with a straight face, we got a problem. But i have a couple good women i go to for casual sex and the occasional date and they tell me they love me , but the thing is we both know it isnt true, it is the lust and the tangling of warm bodies. And i would never lead on a woman by doing the same thing.
Active Ink Slinger
a woman can say "come and get me" to "lets go slow and have some fun" to "fuck me hard and dont let up" with only her eyes

Not exactly a love poem but still one of my favorite. As quoted by Genesis Rhapsodos (I know what some of you aare thinking and yes, yes it it is)

-Prologue-
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end
The Goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting

-Act I-
Infinite in mystery is the Gift of the Goddess
We seek it thus, and take to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest.

-Act II-
There is no hate, only joy
For you are beloved by the Goddess
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds
Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh

-Act III-
My friend, do you fly away now?
To a world that abhors you and I?
All that awaits you is a somber morrow
No matter where the winds may blow
My friend, your desire
Is the bringer of life, the Gift of the Goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return

-Act VI-
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams, no honor remains
The arrow has left the bow of the Goddess
My soul, corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
Legend shall speak
Of sacrifice at world's end
The wind sails over the water's surface
Quietly, but surely

-Act V-
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
