However, when I've revisited some of my stories after a long time away, I have begun to feel the tingle of arousal while reading. Certainly nothing full bore to drop the strides over, but a bit of a thrill regardless.
This is exactly how it is for me. When I'm dreaming them up and writing an outline it gets my motor running. Yet when I get into the writing and rewriting it doesn't excite me at all. If anything it is a struggle to get my ideas on paper.
When I do read revisit them they get me aroused. It also excites me reading comments by readers who like my stories.
