Would you say it's okay to ask about any non-physical aspects of transitioning, assuming that the person is open about being trans and the question is not specific ("did your sexuality change?") but very general ("did you notice any mental changes?")?

No, I don't mind at all! There has been mental changes after being on HRT for a while. I always was sexually attracted towards men. My sexual orientation did not change at all. I still have a strong preference for men sexually. I think there are two big mental changes that come to my mind. I now cry at things I never use to cry at before. For example, I was just listening on NPR about this guy who finally managed to find his family after fleeing Syria. The story was so heart touch that I just began to weep! That never happened to me before I started HRT. Another thing that changed is that I'm much more sexually attracted towards someone's state of mind: how he treats me, for example rather than his physical qualities. My sexual attraction towards one gender over another gender didn't change, but how I am attracted towards people has.

I have been with a girl like me, with a t-guy, with a cis-guy and with a cis-gal.

That's my excuse to lol ... (( y ))

It is not an excuse; it is just the truth. I have no sexual interest in women and don't take the opportunity to try to look up another girl's skirt and check out her panties. The only thing I check out with other women is her fashion sense.

If it is a stranger masturbating to me the answer would be no. I find that to be very creepy. If it was my partner I would love to watch him.

Saw a story on MSNBC a few months ago. It claimed that approx. 60% of chat room visitors were representing themselves as the opposite sex.

I wonder where they came up with that number from.

Back in the AOL days, when I was younger, I use to pretend that I was a cisgender woman, a straight cisgender woman. Yet, it never felt right to me. I eventually started to just be myself, a transgender woman.
