Now that I've written a few stories here on Lush, I have a few questions to pose which I'm curious. Do readers prefer stories in which the action is explicitly written? I've written a couple of stories with a lot of implied buildup, but I'm not able to determine from the comments I've received, if people truly enjoy this style over another. Although I'm attempting to write a cross section of stories, which I enjoy doing, I'm just wondering what I might be able to do to increase the reception.

Also, I really enjoy using cliffhangers. For me, it allows me as a reader to add my own thoughts as to what happened next. Is this a turn off for readers? I've only received one comment that led me to believe this might be the case, so I'm asking.

Thanks,
Scott

Dear lushers, my husband is away for three days and so i have some time to indulge myself. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any stories about housewives being coerced into sex, by a man or multiple men. I love thinking of myself in situations where i have no choice but to let men use my body. I also like mind control stories involving housewives. So if anyone has any suggestions for a damn good read please let me know.
Thanks and kisses in advance
Hope.

What's the right balance? Is a story line actually essential to a story and erotic in and of itself, or is it just an inconvenient (and optional) means of supporting an extended sex-scene?

For me, I find that the whole set-up to sex is more of a turn-on than the sex-scene itself. However, a lot of stories published on this site seem to want to get the "characters" naked and fucking in graphic detail as quickly as possible. And they seem to be quite successful in writing this way.

So what's your preference?
...I like a little development...but people have such a short attention span...if you don't get to the sex fairly soon they loose interest...I'm new here & just building a following...but on another site my stories general get 2000 to 3000 hits...hope I do that well here...

a crowd-source question.

Anyone ever meet someone on craigslist for sex? Am considering writing a story about two lonely people who connect that way.

I imagine the technical mechanics of meeting someone on Craiglist are similar to those of buying a used couch there. You respond to the link on the post, and eventually you have a real email (or any other contact info willing to be shared).

I'm looking for more of the details I'd need for verisimilitude. How much chaff is there with the grain?

How many bogus or unappealing replies will there be before a real possibility shows up?
How many dozens of dick picks might a woman get before she finds someone who doesn't seem crazy? does this take hours or days?
How long might it take a guy to find a woman who isn't "automated" or a pro?
Are many of the responders likely to be married people looking to stray?
Are there other obvious things I haven't considered?

I realize geography will affect these answers considerably. Posts made in NYC will certainly generate far more responses than those in less densely populated areas, and those making and responding to posts in NYC may be able to assume greater anonymity through sheer numbers.

I'd be very grateful for any guidance anyone can give. (If you feel more comfortable PMing me with your thoughts, that's of course fine as well)
thanks in advance!
